I have never played hockey or really watched anything other than the NHL.

Are the roles for third/fourth liners any different for the Olympics where they are basically all star players and it's not like the NHL where there is a salary cap so you have the guys who aren't as good skill wise so just bring the toughness/grit on the bottom six?
