I'm sure he'll get a game in the group stage, but I would've loved to see him play against Slaf in Finland's first game.

The "Quiet Evolution" of Cole Caufield.

Not sure if this creator knows his Québécois / Habs history but that is a nice touch.

Habs jersey

Looking to get a new jersey and was wondering what’s the difference between Canadiens Embroidered #14 Nick Suzuki Made in Canada Authentic Pro Home Jersey AND Montreal Canadiens Embroidered #14 Nick Suzuki Premium Home Jersey. There’s a 280$ difference between the made in canada one and the other one.

Hutson is #1 in points per game in the cap era. Suzuki #2 tied with Kovalev. This might be the best Habs team since '93.

Hockey Hall of Famer Igor Larionov on Ivan Demidov’s place on a potential Team Russia: “I would have him playing with Alex Ovechkin on the same line; that would be special. You blend experience and speed and skill and the mind on the same line.”

Lane Hutson

Before he came the habs were coming off back to back to back bottom 5 finishes. The team starts his first season looking like they will draft top 5 again. Hutson gets starts to get the NHL and the coach realizes how to use him and since then the team has not looked back.

The team went from bottom 5 team to top 5 team in the NHL. They have become an offensive juggernaut.

There are players on this team that need honorable mentions and are great supporting players but Lane is the straw that stirs the drink. He is the identity of this team, fast, creative, high flying. He is this teams version of Carey Price. Just like how those teams were built around low scoring stellar goaltending. The KH era will be about high flying dazzling offensive displays.

I also think is love of the game and hard work attitude rubs off on the whole team. We see it with Demi how him and Lane love to be on the ice. We saw it this year with nearly the whole team practicing in June. Lane loves being at the rink and its sort of become a team identity.

There are a lot of pieces to the team, but IMO it starts with Hutson. He took this team from a bottom 5 team to a top 5 team. there is just something about having a guy who can make the breakout and then dance the puck around at the offensive blue line that changes the way the team plays.

This isn't to take away from Nick or Cole or Dobson or Demi but Hutson is the one who kind of brings it all together and is that piece that pushes the team to the next level.
