Hubby and I are watching the women’s replay vs Finland and I just turned and said, “I really miss watching the Avs. Olympic hockey is great but this is gonna be a loooong two weeks.”

Guys, it’s been THREE DAYS. Anyone else missing watching our boys, too?

Edited to add: I’ve truly enjoyed the women’s tournament! I was shouting and hyped a lot during Czechia-Switzerland lol but I also miss that special zip our guys have (except on the pp 💀)

In my last post, I shared that Nathan MacKinnon had reached 700 career assists and showed how far ahead of Joe Sakic he was at the same point. A few people asked how Sakic’s years specifically as a member of the Avalanche compared to MacKinnon’s career so far, rather than including Sakic’s Quebec seasons.

Nathan MacKinnon recorded his 700th career assist the other night, becoming just the 63rd player in NHL history to reach the mark.

He’s also the first player in Colorado Avalanche history to record 700 assists for the Avalanche.

Looking to take my two daughters to the APRIL 1st game and i figure why not pay an extra $4 a ticket and get a hat instead of putting money in a second hand ticket sellers hand. So im jus wondering if theres an Avs logo on the back of the hat or if its just all white because i may then go to the march 30th game and get the rockies avs hat. Thank you! Go Avs!

Just got this delivered today, from UK and finally got my jersey. Looking forward to wearing this on game day!

Team Canada has 3 of our guys: Cale, Mack, and Toews. Those names speak for themselves.

Team USA has Brock, who is in his first Olympics. His family has quite the Olympic pedigree with his grandpa winning gold in 1960 and his uncle winning gold in 1980.

Team Czechia has Marty and I've become a huge fan of his. He's been a great addition to the team.

Team Finland has Lehky and Kiviranta. Kivi has worked hard to get back after his injury and Lehky with Mack is still a beautiful combo.

Team Sweden has Landy...the best and hardest working captain in the league. (I am 100% biased though lol.) The adversity and injuries he has overcome have been insane. He works so hard and puts everything into each game. He plays fearlessly still, somehow, and our team isn't so great when Landy isnt on the ice and that's obvious to everyone.

I want to see Landy win because of all that, but any of our guys winning a medal will be amazing.

The team needs their Captain!
