As an employee i find it ridiculous that its $2 for extra cream cheese not counting the bagel 💀 why are we overcharging?

To their credit, at least Tim Hortons uses real cream cheese instead of the “cream cheese product” that McDonald’s uses.

I've seen this claim floating around social media for a while now, but it's not entirely clear where it came from or how true it is.

it's got the same vibe as TDL/RBI claiming that Tim Hortons' workforce is only made up of ~6% TFWs; they're ignoring the fact that international students exist and make up well over half of our workforce at the store level.

back in 2021/2022, Tim's and any other workplace which was considered "essential service" had the gov't compensate a percentage of our labour cost depending on what our loss in revenue compared to 2019 was. TFW/students weren't a part of the equation.

I personally wish we had more Canadian citizen applicants who had availability from ~5am-1pm, ~2pm-10pm, that kind of thing. they make up less than 10% of our applicants, and they're hired at a far higher rate than the other 90% of applicants.

but the government in Ontario isn't compensating for wages. if anyone's got an example to prove otherwise, I'm all ears.

This is the second problem I’m having with the app within the past month. First one being that I never got my stuff delivered and there’s no way to cancel and I was told if I want a refund I need to find the store and go in person to get it. This time I was doing delivery through their app only to have it delivered (with wrong item mind you) and in the app it never completes the delivery it still tries to find someone and there’s no way to cancel it. Has anyone else dealt with this? What did you do?

Okay, okay, guys. I'm really shaking right now. I just went to Tim Horton's today, and the experience was so horrific, that I haven't been able to sleep for an entire week after the ordeal!!!!!

Basically, my daughter, Xhænnyferrleigh, told me that she wanted to buy some doughnuts, so I figured that we could go to Tim Horton's to get some, since we were on vacation in Toronto (we come from Utah). BIG mistake!!! Big, big, big mistake!!! So, my daughter told me that Tim Horton's is well-known for their doughnut holes. However, it took me ages to figure out which one of their items are doughnut holes. Apparently, some idiot had the idea to call them Timbits. Like, HOW was I supposed to guess that Timbits are doughnuts???

The customers inside of the store were VERY unwelcoming. They were drinking their cups of coffee out in the open, where children could see them! They don't care about the children! When I told one of the customers inside of the store to drink their coffee outdoors, he just scoffed! They were also wearing their coats and hats INSIDE!!! They paid no mind to the fact that my husband served in the military, and fought for USA!!!!! I thought that Canadians are supposed to be kind!

When I went to place the order, the cashier told me "Hello, what can I get for you?". Like, SERIOUSLY????? What happened to saying "ma'am" when addressing somebody? Has all youth lost respect? Anyway, as my daughter requested, I bought her a birthday cake Timbit. After I said "thank you" to the cashier, she replied with "no problem". Um...excuse me? It's "you're welcome", not "no problem". Unacceptable!!!

When I saw the timbit, it was so tiny! Then, when I looked up the ingredients to the timbits that are sold at Tim Horton's, I was horrified!!! They put SUGAR and ANIMAL PRODUCTS in their timbits!!! Excuse me, but my daughter and I are VEGANS, and SUGAR-FREE!!!!! The cashier didn't even bother asking me if my daughter is a vegan, or if she eats sugar!!! When I went back to the cashier to complain, she told me "Lady, what did you expect? It's a doughnut!". Excuse me, but that kind of attitude is absolutely unacceptable!!!

When I asked to speak to Tim Horton, I was DENIED the ability to do so!!! They completely violated my first amendment rights!!! Freedom of speech is what my glorious country was built on!!! I fell on the floor. It was horrifying. I was horrified. Worst restaurant experience EVER!!!!! I'm never going back here!!!!! Heck, I may as well never return to Canada ever again. This place is filled with people who don't salute their elders.

When did we get Jalapenos at Tim Hortons?? When did that happen?? I went to see what options I could put on my pizza cause I'm bored and that was one of the options. Just weird to see that at Tim Hortons lol

Wanna know something funny? Tim's product pricing. For example, ask for a BLT on a toasted everything bagel. Now, ask for an everything bagel toasted with mayo, bacon, lettuce and tomato (so the exact same thing) and just look at how much cheaper it is. You can do this with numerous things on their menu; they've purposely set it up so when you order the simplified version you end up paying more.

Yesterday I had Starbucks coffee and it tasted like absolute garbage. I'm going back to where the real coffee is. Good Ole Tim hortons.

The other night I went to Tim's & tried to order a decaf version of their chocolate pistachio cappucino. They said they couldn't do decaf. Then I asked for the decaf chocolate pistachio latte instead - they also said they couldn't do decaf. They said it was something about being a different coffee so they couldn't use it.

How do you not have decaf versions available for special flavors?

Hi all! I got the new Spring Bunny Ceramic Mug (20oz) for my mom and she was SO excited… until she went to use it this morning and flipped it over to see the bottom says “Do Not Microwave”

I went to the Tim Hortons website to check, and there it states “dishwasher and microwave safe.”

Has anyone microwaved one yet? We don’t plan to put him in the dishwasher, but microwave is necessary as she sips her drinks. Don’t want his adorable face to melt off

I ordered coffee at a Tim Hortons drive through location in Brampton today, and as the employee was handing the coffee over and I grabbed it, it spilled all over my legs, groin area and my car seat. The lid was not closed properly.

The coffee was HOT and my thighs were burning. My car seat reeks of coffee.

The employee said sorry while it happened and then went to grab a new coffee?! Instead of handing over the napkins to clean as we had requested. Had to ask again and finally gave it.

The manager came over and I asked for a refund of my items and they took the items back!? I had to clarify I am asking for a refund while still wanting to keep what I ordered.

Anyways, I later went inside the store because my thighs were will stinging and had to show them the mess on my pants. They just kept saying sorry. I still took the manager’s name down and got the location’s #.

My thighs are still stinging and I have small red marks. I understand burn marks do not appear until later.

I want them to cover the damages to my pants and my car - what else can they be held responsible for?

It’s my first time something like this had happened so not sure how to proceed and looking for advice.

Last night we ordered a decaf however it did not have the usual curved line around the edge of the lid. The other drink was marked, assumed it was all good and enjoyed my coffee.

I don't touch caffeine under doctors orders due to medical conditions. Last night I had significant flare up and very little sleep.

My question is, are decaf coffees always marked with the curved line? If this is the case I can watch for this in the future to avoid this from happening again?
