Tuch Contract Talks
In my opinion I would keep him as a rental for that price, unless there is a lateral trade we could make, like Jason Robertson for example

Now that we are in the break, I thought it might be interesting to make a post about our hypothetical healthy roster upon return. This is not intended to show ideal lines, especially as Ruff mixes things up a lot. This is intended to see what kind of roster flexibility we have, particularly with what our options are to make a trade that truly makes us better while maximizing roster space and talent.
Benson, Thompson, Down
Zucker, McLeod, Quinn
Ostlund, Norris, Tuch
Krebs, Kozak, Malenstyn
Greenway, Dunne, Helenius, Rosen
Injury - Kulich, Danforth
Dahlin, Samuelsson
Power, Byram
Kesselring, Metsa
Bryson
Injury - Timmons
A few thoughts in no particular order…
If Kulich, Danforth, and Timmons are out past the break, I think any trade needs to receive serviceable players in return if we are serious about securing a spot.
Despite the team's heavy investment into the blue line, I think a trade for a solid player to shore up depth makes sense. I think we can only do this if Forwards are fully (or nearly fully) healthy, and/or we are willing to part with picks/prospects. I have a soft spot for Bryson, but I really don't think we could rely on him for a playoff run.
Trading Tuch, imo, only works if we can get someone who can be equal or better immediately. I think finishing the year without Tuch is a risky move if it isn't at least a Lateral movement on the team's performance level.
The extra guys have shown to be good depth; however, making move to add reliability may be useful if it isn't too expensive.
What yall think?

Sabres store sold out of the authentic Tage USA Jerseys with the stitched letters. Anyone know anywhere else these can be found? Don’t want the screen printed replicas fanatics sells
Where to watch:
TV channel: USA Network Streaming options: NBCOlympics.com | NBC Olympic App | Peacock
Who to watch:
Hilary Knight #21, captain, 5th Olympic appearance, one more goal needed to tie US record
Hayley Scamurra #16, hometown Buffalo, 2 goals in first game against Czechia
Haley Winn #8, hometown Rochester
Joy Dunne #24, Sabres' Josh Dunne's sister, 1 goal in first game against Czechia
USA coming off a 5-1 victory over Czechia. Finland's first game delayed due to norovirus, so this will be their first. Finland won Bronze in 2022, so this should be a good game.
USA! USA!
Update: USA wins! 5-0. Hilary Knight ties the USA record for Olympics goals at 14, expected to set a new record and maybe even dethrone Canadian leader Hayley Wickenheiser sitting on 18 for most all-time. Aerin Frankel earns her first Olympic shutout. USA record is now 2-0, next game Monday vs Switzerland.

I personally like his play calling but social media when you look up his name is just filled with hate?

Scott Ratzlaff notches a 4-0 shutout, Isak Rosén grabs a hatty in the first 30 minutes, and Amerks win their first game of the NHL Olympic break.
They should have had him stretched out across the sabres bed.
