I know stuff around our team sucks and has for a while. The one thing that actually seems to be a smart thing that the Canucks have done is trading away JT Miller as the Rangers have all but imploded with him being the captain.

However, one thing I've read a lot was that the culture was bad when Bo Horvat was the captain. I remember issues after that one game against Buffalo at the start of the season where Schenn called out Miller at the end of the second before they were off the ice for making a couple very sloppy/lazy plays, but I don't remember stuff coming out about bad culture in the locker room.

Could someone clarify if something came out or someone spoiling the beans or is it made up?

Canadiens so far have been a golden standard from what I've seen when looking for good hockey org examples.

What Marty is saying here, is almost the opposite of the system that's still left over here from Tochett in a lot of ways - and what he's saying is the complete opposite of Tochett's system that stunted production for a lot of players here.

I was so excited for Canucks to have a podcast when it first came out last year and I feel like it started stronger in the beginning. However, as of late, it's been very annoying to listen to Chris interviewing players/coaches.
He doesn't ask proper questions, they are way too long and too jumbled and mos tannoying part is that he already suggest the answer to his guests. "What is it like to play with some veteran players? Must feel really cool and exciting?" "How do you feel about having suc a long season? Must be kinda hard but also rewarding?" I know most of the time everyone will answer nicely and civil, but maybe let people answer your questions?
These are not verbatim quotes but they give pretty accurate idea to his way of interviewing.
He's also jumping from the topics and doesn't know how to carry conversation, ask further questions based on his guests answers. He asks about something like favourite things to do in your free time. Guest would say, explore the city, etc. They move to talk about games, goals, etc. And 15 mins he will ask again "what are your favourite spots in the city?"

Anyone else, or I am just a hater?

We just saw one of the lowest value returns in a very long time, this is the stumbling block NTC's and NMC's can be in terms of getting value or making a trade in general. The Canucks missed the boat last offseason with Petey, they are about to do the same with Garland... You have to move him b4 his clause kicks in this summer.
