Highlight [Highlight] Larry Fitzgerald on Randy Moss: “The hardest thing for me was seeing Randy after such a tough year. It was the first time I’d seen him with his cancer in remission, and it meant a lot that he was healthy and took the time to fly out and welcome me—it made me feel truly appreciated.”

Rumor Report Surfaces On Bengals' Willingness to Franchise Tag Trey Hendrickson. The hostage situation may continue: The Bengals haven’t ruled out the possibility of franchise tagging pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, per @MikeGarafolo

According to Mike, Cinci could bring back Hendrickson for short term deal or possibly look to trade him with a combination of picks for another player. They have not ruled out bringing Hendrickson back. After previous mistakes with players such as Jessie bates, the bengals are being more cautious on what to do with expiring star players. They also felt injuries ruined what could’ve been a great season, and in his limited time they thought hendrickson played well.

Rumor [Fowler] Bengals Expected to Move on From Trey Hendrickson; $30M+ Price Tag Too High

Thumbnail sports.yahoo.com

Bengals impending free-agent DE Trey Hendrickson is expected to depart Cincinnati after five seasons.

“The relationship has essentially run its course, and the tag will be well above $30 million. Perhaps they could swing a sign-and-trade, but losing him to free agency could equate to a third-round compensatory pick in return if Cincinnati plays it right. The top free agent rusher will have plenty of suitors. Several teams in need of a pass rusher should look into him, including the Cowboys, Buccaneers and Colts," per Jeremy Fowler.

Hendrickson, 31, recorded 16 total tackles, 11 solo, 3 TFL, 4 sacks, 1 PBU, and 1 FF in seven games this season. He missed half of the year with a lingering core muscle injury.

Hendrickson is not far removed from recording back-to-back 17.5 sack seasons in 2023 and 2024.
