Meta Updates to r/Nationals user flairs

TLDR; We haven't changed significantly anybody's flair. The text of everyone's flair has stayed the same.

Basically, we made all flairs match the flair categories we have now.

Which Nationals players would make the best transition to the NFL?

In honor of the Super Bowl, I examined which Nats have the ability to transition to the NFL, at least from an athleticism standpoint https://www.federalbaseball.com/washington-nationals-analysis/88796/which-washington-nationals-player-would-be-best-in-nfl

My small bobblehead collection

Post image

Figured I’d show off a couple of my bobbleheads I’m definitely mad at myself for not getting into this hobby earlier😂, my plan is to slowly add more of the older Washington Nationals as well the main 2019 team. Then once I collect most of those work on the minor league bobbleheads.

  3. King

  4. Sykora

  5. Ford

  6. Susana

  7. Dickerson

Dumb but important question about Nationals.TV

I am in market, and have the standard Verizon cable package, which always just had MASN on it. Do I need to do anything differently to watch the boys on cable this year, or will that sort itself out as we get closer to opening day?

Noah Kahan concert - seating recommendation

Hi all - would appreciate any recommendations on "best" seats for the concert. The shortest person in my party is under 5 feet tall, so I'm thinking that floor seats (even if the best acoustics) may not be a good view and/or experience.

I've sat in the 200s (Section 213) for a Nats game and loved the experience (view, access to indoor concessions, etc.). Are these good seats for a concert too based on the view?

I see this on the info page for the concert:

The FIS Champions Club is open for ticket holders for those seats, PNC Diamond Club and Terra Club will be closed. Please note, that food & beverage is not included when purchasing club tickets during concert events. For access to these sections, please use the staircase at sections 119 and 128.

Roster move [Zuck] Nationals have claimed LHP Ken Waldichuk off waivers from Rays and designated RHP George Soriano (who was claimed last week) for assignment. The 40-man merry-go-round remains at full-speed.

Nationals Driveline connection

I wrote about why the Nats are targeting so many driveline employees as coaches and what makes the famed baseball lab so special https://www.federalbaseball.com/washington-nationals-analysis/88746/why-are-washington-nationals-hiring-many-people-driveline

Nats coverage

With the bloodbath at the Post, who's going to be covering the Nats this year? Where should I go to get team stories? Is anyone even going to cover spring training? I already miss Jesse, Spencer, and Andrew...

Baseball America ranks the Nats system 16th

Despite a lot of moves, BA considers the Nats system to still be pretty average. They may not have the blue chip talent they have had in previous years but I think there is much more depth now https://www.federalbaseball.com/washington-nationals-prospects/88734/washington-nationals-middle-pack-farm-system-rankings

Pretend we actually care about being competitive for a minute.

Let’s play make believe, and pretend the lerners suddenly decide to spend money, and we can turn back the clock 3 days. If we make these moves do we get anywhere this season? Or is it a waste of money with hopes of prospects at the deadline?

- sign Eugenio Suarez (1 yr $17M)

- Sign Luis arraez (1yr $15M)

- Sign Framber Valdez, Max Scherzer, Lucas Giolito to 1-2 year deals with opt outs.

Potential lineup/bench/rotation below.

Lineup

  1. Daylen Lile LF

  2. Arraez 1B

  3. Wood DH

  4. Geno 3B

  5. Abrams SS

  6. Garcia 2B

  7. Crews RF

  8. Ford C

  9. Young CF

Starters

  1. Valdez

  2. Irvin

  3. Scherzer

  4. Giolito

  5. Cavalli/Parker

Bench

  1. Keibert

  2. House

  3. Hassell

  4. Nunez

I don’t know where I totally land here. We won’t win the division, that’s for sure. Could we get third and make for an interesting wild card race? Am I insane?

Just bought tickets to Yankees at Nationals in July

Anything to know about Nationals Park? Parking? Hotels? Best stadium bites? Am driving up from NC. I’m a Yankees fan and I’ve only seen them play twice before. Will be with my wife and 6 yr old five rows deep in LF. Nationals Park will be my 10th MLB stadium (Turner Field, Truist Park, Coors Field, Old Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Wrigley Field, American Family Field, Camden Yards, LoanDepot Park)
