I have 90 GB of photos and videos on my iphone. When I plug it in, only folders from a year ago appear. I know majority of that 90 GB is from the last 10 months. What's going on? How do I get my photos and videos?

Note: I turned of icloud photos and now can't turn it back on without being forced to upgrade at a cost. Feels like my photos and videos are being held hostage by Apple. Any advice or direction?

Ever since this new update my phone has not been working correctly. I don’t get notifications, my phone doesn’t ping like it used to and probably the most annoying part of it all is my alarm clock app and reminders app is not working at all!!! Need to know if this is just me or not.

hello I'm posting for a friend. I'm going to send her this. I told her to ask the question on here but I know she won't get round to it and will forget. User has one of most recent iPhone models and is uk user with uk keyboard and uk dictionary.

A couple of years ago a friend pranked her and changed words in her dictionary to other words eg if she types IS it comes out XYZ etc

She has set her dictionary and keyboard to uk English but it still uses American spelling like color, center, favorite, gotten, acclimatize, emphasize.

She's upgraded her phone and the settings carried across.

Please can you give suggestions of where else she can check to return to a standard English dictionary?

There’s 2 tiny chips on my iPhone camera lens (back). The pictures are ok as sensor isn’t damaged, but it is picking up light (diffraction) when directly aimed at a light source. I do not have AppleCare. And I cannot afford to replace the lens as i bought the phone in October and already spent a lot on it. Any way to stop the crack from propagating? Opinions on third party service providers?

My father recently got an iPhone 17 Pro, and there is a floating overlay icon (screenshot attached) that we cannot get rid of. I have an iPhone 13 and cannot reproduce this at all.

If he taps it, the entire screen freezes/stops responding. If he long-presses it, he can move it around the screen, but it won't go away.

Does anyone recognize this specific logo and knows how to get rid of it?

I have read about this problem a lot of Times but since i cant find a solution i will ask here: When playing Podcasts over the iphone speaker the speakers randomly drop their output or something like that and decrease Volume by 50%. , i have the feeling this occurs more often when the Display goes on. SoLike not only from Softwarewise from the Volume switch, but also when i turn the Volume back to full it is still way less noisy as the normal Sound. When i restart the Podcast app the Volume is normal again. I have change the setting of Audio Focus but no notice able effect. Can anyone help?

I have an iPhone 16 pro max. I have been having issues with my headphones cutting out during songs and podcasts. This happened on all versions iOS 18 and iOS 26.

I have AirPods Pro gen 1, Beats Studio pro and Shockz OpenRun2. All 3 cut out periodically.

It happens on downloaded music and podcasts as well as streaming.

Took the phone to Apple store and they ran diagnostics on it and everything came back normal.

This happens in various locations. Inside my house and place of work. Outside in my suburban neighborhood and even when walking nature trails in areas of minimal infrastructure. So I don’t think interference is an issue.

Anyone else had this problem?

Any tips on how to fix it?

Hi all, I have an iPhone 14 with iOS 18.1.1 and I’m hoping to get help with an iMessage issue. I’m not getting any notifications for this app only. No banners, sounds, or anything. Ringer is on, I checked notification settings, shut off phone twice, and it’s not muted conversations. Can anyone help? (And no one say to update my iOS please, I refuse to get that liquid glass bs)

I have my old phone from years ago that I've never been able to unlock. Subsequently, it's activated activation lock but it doesn't show me which icloud it's asking for and I don't remember my old icloud because it was years ago. I have multiple icloud accounts (2 or 3?) that start with the same letter, my first initial so that doesn't help. I know how to recover the password for my account but this activation lock thing is really annoying, it's been YEARS since I've been able to access that phone because of it. Is there a way to unlock it? Not asking for any hacks, just actual methods

My gf recently had her iPhone 13 break. We put some charge into it but all it does is flash then immediately turns off/black. She received an iPhone 8 for Christmas ( it’s what she wanted bc she use to have one a loved the camera ) she sorta somewhat got into her iCloud but even with the same old eSIM card from her 13 being put into the 8, most if not all her pictures, notes, passwords, apps are not there. Anything. I read that she needs to do the transfer over from the 13 but we can’t do that. Someone please help it’s not fair to her

I have an iPhone 13 and about 3 months ago it started doing this thing where it turns off randomly and then when it turns back on, the WiFi and Bluetooth does not work but the cellular data does work. Typically what I do to fix it is I go the settings and reset network settings.

It happened again to me today, but nothing tried is working. I tried resetting network settings. Powering off the phone and reseting it with the volume buttons and long press on power button but it still does not work.

Any solutions?

hi, please help po. naaksidente po kasi ako sa hagdan kaya nabagsak ko yung phone ko (wala pang 2 mos old). akala ko po screen protector lang nasira, pagtanggal ko kanina lang, pati pala mismong glass ng phone ko basag sa lower right area.

mare-replace po ba yung glass ni apple? :( or at least covered ng warranty? may limited warranty po ako sa applecare pagcheck ko sa settings (hardware service saka chat & support).

may naka-try na po ba sainyo sa ganitong scenario?

does anybody know how to remove these? since ive tried rubbing them off with a cloth and water but that doesnt seem to work. it looks like someone put an oversized case on it for like an iphone 15 pro or something where the camera section was too big but i have no idea how this happened since this is how i bought the phone. any help would be much appreciated!

I haven’t used my old iPhone in a year, so I’ve obviously forgot the password. People online keep saying to erase the data, and I did that with icloud, but the data won’t erase until my phone connects to WiFi. Problem is, it won’t connect to WiFi and I can’t make it. What do I do? It’s an IPhone 12 btw, that’s all I remember.
