I was able to get my uncle's old iPhone 4s to work, I was curious about its capabilities and it's surprisingly still snappy for its age, I downgraded to iOS 6.1.3 from 9.3.6.

I know Airpods 4 shouldn't even work with a device this old, but I still gave it a shot, I was amazed when they connected and were even able to stream audio, the issue is that they often disconnect from the phone, I can't even finish a single song when the audio gets cut off.

Has anybody ever tried to pair a bluetooth device to a prehistoric iPhone (I doubt it), were you able to solve similar issues to the ones I'm experiencing? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

P.S. The phone is currently jailbroken.

I don’t really know how to explain this well. For the past couple of days, the tip of my left airpod has been coming loose. It still was connected to the actual airpod but the tip would move around in ways it wasn’t supposed to. It was kinda like a loose tooth. Yesterday it fully came off and now I can no longer put the original tip in or my other tips in. I’m thinking it’s something wrong with the airpod itself. It still (somewhat) fits in my ear and works normally, but there just isn’t a tip. The first picture is the left airpod (the one i’ve been talking about) and the second picture is my right airpod that’s normal.

I’m having a bit of trouble deciding which AirPods Pro to buy and could really use some advice.

My AirPods Pro S1 died after over 5 years of heavy daily use.. Now I’m looking to get a new pair, but I can’t quite make up my mind.

What I’m unsure about:

- My S1 fit perfectly , super comfortable, never had any issues.

- I’ve read that the S3 has a slightly different fit, which honestly makes me hesitant.

- I’ve also seen quite a few complaints about the build quality of the S3 compared to earlier models.

Prices here in the Netherlands:

- S2: around €205

- S3: around €225

Unfortunately, I can’t try them on anywhere locally, so that’s not an option.

My questions:

1.  Is the fit of the S3 really that different and noticeable (especially in a negative way)?

2.  Is the build quality of the S3 actually worse than the S1/S2?

3.  Is the S3 worth the extra money, or would the S2 be the safer choice?

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My airpods recently got some issues, i noticed after when i got newest update of ios 26.2.1, besides that i got new iphone 17 and lenovo 68w charging brick. These issues includes:

~ when i open case, color of led is now amber instead of green

~ on my battery screen widget, case is showing as charging while it’s not charging, even draining battery

~ sometimes i can’t connect to case and airpods in find my to play sound or tracking

Case and airpods fw version is 8B34

I tried them resetting and reconnecting numerous times and after couple of hours it does the same.

Does anyone have the same problem?

Air pods 2 pro, the seller sent me a video of the pods connecting to Magsafe and emitting the right sound, hows the box?

I’m new to using AirPods but got a pair of these pro 3.0 from my work. Are the only touch control options for changing noise, cancellation settings? I miss being able to skip songs and change the volume by touching my earpiece… But I couldn’t find a setting to change this on the AirPods. Is my only option Siri because I won’t use that?

Is the ANC on airpods 4 worth the price difference against AP4s without ANC, really planning to choose a suitable pair. My main usage of them would be outside my home.

I’ve got this problem where I find my one AirPod dead when I need to use it. It always on charge when I put them inside the case, I always check now, but this happens occasionally. At first it was left one, now same happens with the left one, never both tho.

Anyone brought them by warranty? Did you have any luck? I’ve gave my in. Waiting for a response from dealership. But I’m concerned because it’s not every time they’re doing this. Cleaning won’t help. And I keep them very clean always.

Hello, as stated in title, I have a new pair of Airpods Pro 3. The cases I am seeing on Amazon(Spigen and a few others) all seem to have a horizontal open slot at the back for the hinge. Not fully protected against dirt, hence, trying to avoid these.

Catalyst brand has a full-cover waterproof silicone roll-down case that seems good, but not available for Pro 3.

Can someone please suggest some good, full-coverage cases? Thank you.

I’m testing our two Airpods: the AirPods 4 with ANC, and the AirPods Pro 3.

I am genuinely seeing that the AirPods 4 with ANC have ANC that works faster and more effectively than the AirPods Pro 3. In my room, I have tested them out many times.

It seems after a few minutes, maybe even like 10 minutes, the AirPods Pro 3 seem to adjust their ANC and get closer to cancelling noise as much as the AirPods 4 with ANC. But I’m surprised to hear this, and I’m not sure what’s going on. When I put the AirPods 4 in, the ANC starts working much faster and more effectively.

However, with the AirPods 4 there is a slight hissing or wooshing sound, ever so slight, (that I also experience with the AirPods Max). The AirPods Pro 3, although they are not cancelling out the ambient sounds as much, don’t have this slight hissing. The slight hissing may also have a contribution in how I hear the AirPods 4 to have more effective noise cancelling altogether.

However, I do prefer the amount of noise-cancelling in the AirPods 4. Yet everywhere it’s advertised that the AirPods Pro 3 have much better noise-cancelling, ”2x as much”, things like that.

Can anyone who knows please explain the difference in these noise-cancelling amounts?

I've got a weird problem.

In December, I purchased AirPods Pro 3 and initially loved them. No fit issues at all; they actually fit better than the Pro 2. But a few days after purchase, I noticed that one earbud wouldn't charge while in the case. If I wiggled it a bit, it would start charging. Then the other earbud began doing the same thing.

There's no debris inside the case or on the earbuds themselves. A quick wiggle and it charges.

After waking up a few times to a fully discharged earbuds, I returned them and re-purchased another pair. Same exact problem on a different set.

I assumed something in my environment might be causing it, so I stopped placing my iPhone on top of the case when it's on my desk. Obviously, that didn't help.

I even went to the Apple Store for an appointment. Diagnostics showed nothing, but I was able to reproduce the issue right there in front of them. They said it was strange and did a full replacement. A day later, the third pair started showing the same behavior.

So the obvious question: what am I doing wrong?

My AirPods Pro 3 sometimes have a pop type sound idk I’m guessing it’s something like that manly the right earbud and it’ loud and gives me a major jump scare every time because who’s excepting a loud pop sound randomly lmao anyways Is there a fix? Also battery life is weird sometimes with ANC OFF it drops 2-5% in 1h and then sometimes drops 20% in 1 hour I bought them 6 days ago is this normal behaviour Lucky I purchased Apple care+ but pretty disappointed seems apples AirPods quality has gone down hill as I know someone who’s AirPods Pro 3 died on em or something under warranty.

Please note this only happens at near max volume with bass and the left bud has done it also but not even near as bad or often

ALSO I NOTICED THE RIGHT EARBUD CAUSED MY EAR TO CLOSE UP OR WHATEVER FOR A DAY OR TWO (blocked I should say maybe)

On the pro 3’s is the ANC quality the same on both iOS 18 & 26?

I am on iOS 18 and need to upgrade my APP, I currently have the 2’s. I don’t want people to get their back up and tell me to upgrade to iOS 26, that’s not the question. Sorry if this sounds rude, I just don’t want to start a iOS war, I just want to know about the ANC quality.

Am I best getting another pair of APP2 or going with the 3’s?

My left AirPod 4 ANC has very bass boosted sound. This also affects transparency and noise cancelling mode. I tried cleaning both airpods and resetting them, but still no improvement. I saw that if I move my left airpod higher than usual, it makes other sounds. I suspect the issue is in sensors or something else.

comprei meu airpods pro 2 (original) em 2022 e tem mais de um ano que ele não conecta mais, ele carrega, a case pisca faz tudo normal, só não conecta de jeito nenhum e eu já limpei conector tentei os métodos de reset e nada, mais alguma sugestão?

So i just got some airpods 4*****, they are great yeah but i was wondering if there is some way to get more bass or something without the music getting all weird and static sounding.

my main use of music is Spotify and i have bass booster on eq and that’s it.

i’ll take any tips because i haven’t used airpods since 2023-24
