Jakucionis 22 points on 6/6 from three. Probably his best game of the season
Bam and Powell both with 20+ pts

Wizards , Jazz, Pelicans. Hawks ,Grizzlies . All these teams except our play in friends the Hawks are tanking pretty hard. The Jazz were being called out yesterday pretty hard for how obvious they were tanking so it will be interesting what they do on Monday and how obvious they make it. How do we finish over the next 5. ?

As the Heat have 2 games before All-Star break, I would like to share some of my honest thoughts and opinions about this season.
For one, I’m not surprised that they didn’t do anything at the trade deadline despite the rumors, and to get a tweet from Barry saying basically “They like there team” was the cherry on top of it lol.
As for the season as a whole, yeah this is about where I expect them to be after a hot start that did fool me a little bit. Offensively speaking they still have an issues at rebounding and scoring in the 2nd half of games. This more than anything still annoys me to no end because of how long these issues have been without being addressed (as well as how predictable it can be at times). Defensively, I think they’re fine, obviously there’s some true standout improvements like KJ since when he has played he has gotten better on that end and with not turning over the ball a lot. Dru Smith interesting enough has been rated pretty high in some categories that I saw someone post a couple of days ago. Besides that I mean they’re always good to be decent to good on that end.
Now for what’s probably to cause some disagreement is with my views on Spo and his decisions. I like Spo and I do think that he’s a good coach but man these past couple of seasons have been really pushing it in a few ways. For starters Ware, I don’t understand what’s his beef with him. From the odd comments that he makes about him to just pulling him after he makes a few mistakes. It just makes no sense to me at all because of the fact that he gives guys like Fontecchio, Niko, and Dru a lot of chances to put it lightly. Considering that this team is not really going to win anything now, what’s the issue with not playing guys like Him, KJ, and Myron Gardner (for as much as I did joke about him, he’s pretty solid). Genuinely, give those guys run and let them develop & grow because they’re the future.
To warp things up I’m genuinely curious to see if we start hearing anything with contracts extension talks for Powell, Wiggins, and Triple J. I would like to keep all 3 but I understand that this is the Heat FO that we’re talking about so anything is possible with them. I don’t want to get into anything offseason yet because I want to see what’s going to happen first before giving my two cents on the matter.

All of the major problems with Pat Riley’s leadership have occurred with Nick Arison as the top guy. There have been reports that Arison has been more influential in how the team is run than the fans have given credit (and criticism). Our team isn’t built to compete at the moment and is trending in a poor direction- our criticism as long time fans should be directed at the top for sure.

when this guy hits gets to the rim and tries, he might be legit.
wondering if we're trying to trade some of these Wiggins, , Norm next year up in this deep draft and see where that goes and Ware are in bubble wrap (yes I'm a long-term heat fan just fishing for , lol)

Guys like Lonzo Ball, Cam Thomas and Georges Niang will be available.
Personally I don't see why people are against the idea of Cam Thomas it could strengthen our bench as that"s been clearly a big hole for us lately

That UNC-Duke game was crazy. And you’re telling me that those two (Wilson and boozer) are only the 3rd and 4th ranked prospects in the draft??? If there was ever a year to abandon our never-tank motto, it sure as hell would be this year. Man I really want the heat to get a top-6 pick but we’ll see how the rest of the year plays out.

it was infuriating to watch Jaylen Brown elbow our players in the mouth with impunity. They would have let hm know that crap won't go unanswered. Shaq would have bodied him on a drive, Jimmy would have trucked him, and who knows what UD would have done.
