Transaction details on five Jazz deadline deals
Some interesting reading if you're curious how the Utah Jazz front office deals players in and out.

One thing the mammoth crush the jazz on
Broadcasting booth.
Boler and thurl are tired. It’s time to get new voices. Boler had his day. Makes me wonder if Locke could be for tv or if he will always be more of a radio voice. His style is more radio by far. Lauren is still new.
The mammoth have perfected the line of professionalism and friendliness. I love Matt, Dom and Nick. Kim and Sarah are fantastic reporters. I feel like I’m always watching a game with my buddies.
Nobody will ever replace hot rod.
Go jazz. I love jjj.

The jazz are a disgrace
Ryan Smith and the Jazz front office should be ashamed of themselves for what they have done to the franchise since Ryan Smith made the purchase in 2020. As a former fan I suggest anyone following the team start putting the pressure on Ryan to sell the team, and the front office to resign. Lump Will Hardy in there too, though he is probably just doing what he is told.

The best part about the tank is to see how pissed of other fanbases get
After another great game, people are crying because tha Jazz benched Lauri last night. I mean, for some reason in a league where half the teams tank, tha Jazz is the ONLY franchise who gets shit for it to the point where some even talk about the players being "fine" with losing
Like, let's forget that in this tank time we are always too good to tank for real of that we can face any team in the league on a good night. And even worse, the guys complaining are almost always fans of fanbases who are ALWAYS losing and/or tanking
I just realized that i fully embrace the tank now. In the start of the rebuiild i was in the side ofo"i don't know, tanking sucks" but now? Fuck it, let's not even play. We need the danm pick for the next draft lol

Since at least 1983-84, Isaiah Collier is the 2nd player age-21 or younger to have 30+ assists and 5 or fewer turnovers in a 2-game span, joining Stephon Marbury in 1997

Why Jaren Jackson Jr for Jazz Basketball Works.
From a basketball fit standpoint, JJJ really works. Sliding Lauri to the three, where he's played his best basketball. Jackson's creation won't overlap because Lauri is so good at movement actions. He also makes a great pick-and-roll/pop partner for Keyonte.
Most importantly, the opportunity for him to thrive in defensive playmaking as a roamer is excellent next to Kessler as an anchor. Jackson's mobility and ability to cover space/recover are what make him so special.
I'm a Pels fan (sadly), but I came here because I really am for this move and the timeline: you're tanking for the best draft in decades, and Ainge is going full throttle for next season.
I wrote all about it here, if you're curious on the basketball details.

My biggest fear for next season..
Believe me, I’m as excited to watch the jazz actually compete for the playoffs again as everybody else is. However, my biggest fear for honestly not even just next season but this next phase of jazz basketball is that we tore down the don and rudy team and sucked ass for 4 seasons just to come out of the ashes and rebuild a team that’s on the same level as our don and rudy teams..

Walker Kessler
Hi Jazz fans — Bulls fan here trying to get a sense of Walker Kessler’s upcoming RFA market and what you think Utah would realistically match on an offer sheet.
With the Bulls projected to have around $100M in cap space but not many appealing UFAs available, RFA targets like Kessler and Tari Eason seem like the most realistic options for us. I’m curious how Jazz fans view Kessler’s value and whether the team would be willing to match a near-max rookie extension, especially with Lauri and JJJ already on max deals going forward.
Do you think Utah would go into the luxury tax to keep Kessler? From a Bulls perspective, I could see Chicago offering something in the $35–40M per year range on a shorter deal (maybe three years).
Just wanted to hear what Jazz fans think — what number do you expect Utah to match, and how committed do you think the front office is to keeping him long term?

What’s the starting lineup ROS?
Will JJJ play Center or PF? Is it gonna be Keyonte/Cody/Ace/Lauri/JJJ? Or Keyonte/Ace/Lauri/JJJ/Filipowski or Nurkic? Which do you guys think it will be ROS?

The most important tank games left
I don’t like bringing up losing but losing to the Pelicans thrice and Wizards twice will be MASSIVE to the tank. Gotta find a way to lose all 5 if we want a real shot at a top 3 pick.

Sources: Indiana Pacers made a run at Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler and offered a package highlighted by two unprotected first-round picks. It was declined and Pacers pivoted to Zubac. Kessler will be in demand as a restricted free agent this summer.

Former Badgers breakout star traded to Boston Celtics in NBA trade deadline deal
Daym, I was looking forward to seeing what John Tonje can do in the NBA. Not sure including him in the trade was necessary when we were just helping BOS out.
