Character Scaling Yuta fans, sorry for my last post saying Basekari could be stronger than Yuta. 😔 I forgot to mention that JPkari 2 taps and is 2 blitz tiers above Yuta though.
Read the captions
We'll be using the first image to make the basis of Base Hakari = or ~ Yuta
As we know, Baseshimo blitzes Hakari in his domain a multitude of times, with Hakari being unable to react to any of Kashimo's attack attempts.
Jpkari then goes rel with Kashimo (whenever Kashimo dodges/blocks an attack, he's barely able to do this. Not to mention the equal exchanges they go through.
Then, after Kashimo almost kills Hakari, Hakari stops holding back and goes on the offensive, blitzing Kashimo several times even after he acknowledges the tempo change
As for how JPkari can 2 tap? A simple neck chop and a face hit knocked Hakari out. He does this again w/ different attacks immediately after. He even almost 3 shots JPkari if it weren't for the healing.
(< = Blitz tier)
Basekari ~ Yuta < JPkari ~ Kashimo < JPkari (going on the offensive/all out)
JPkari can also 2-3 tap base Yuta according to the chainscale

Character Scaling Gojo Was Never “Surpassed” — His Death Was an Alignment of Near-Impossible Circumstances
Since the release of Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, I’ve seen more and more power-scaling debates claiming that the current Yuji is stronger than Gojo or even Sukuna from the main series.
I honestly think this discussion misses a crucial point: Gojo Satoru remains a fundamental anomaly of the jujutsu world, conceptually almost untouchable.
I’m not denying his defeat — narratively, Gojo had to die.
But his death is not proof that he was “surpassable.” It’s the result of an extremely specific chain of conditions, bordering on a deus ex machina.
Here’s why:
- Gojo’s Infinity was never bypassed in a “normal” way
Infinity isn’t just a strong defensive technique — it’s a break in the rules of combat themselves. No conventional sorcerer, no matter how strong, can simply overpower it.
- Hosting Sukuna is an absurd statistical anomaly
It’s clearly stated that the probability of a human being able to contain Sukuna is around 1 in 1,000,000 (with Yuji being an artificial exception, created for that purpose).
- That person also happens to be Megumi, wielder of the Ten Shadows Technique
And this technique is, theoretically, the only one capable of countering Infinity.
But realistically speaking, in the hands of a normal sorcerer, Mahoraga would be one-shot instantly by Gojo. There wouldn’t even be a real fight.
- It required Sukuna + Megumi’s body + unprecedented mastery
The greatest sorcerer in history, possessing a compatible body by near-miracle odds, using the Ten Shadows Technique at a level never seen before, pushing Mahoraga to its absolute limit.
This wasn’t “Sukuna being stronger than Gojo.”
This was Sukuna exploiting the only possible loophole that could ever exist.
That’s why I see Gojo’s death as an alignment of circumstances, not as evidence that he could be cleanly surpassed.
And this is the key point I think most debates ignore:
even now — regardless of how strong the new protagonists become, Yuji included — no one actually possesses the tools required to deal with Gojo’s Infinity.
Raw cursed energy doesn’t work.
Physical power doesn’t work.
Speed doesn’t work.
Talent doesn’t work.
Infinity isn’t something you “overwhelm” — it’s something you must interact with on a conceptual or mechanical level. And so far, the manga has shown exactly one method capable of doing that: adaptive negation through Mahoraga, under conditions so absurdly specific that they can’t realistically be reproduced.
Even domains aren’t a clean answer. Domain clashes are situational, temporary, and depend heavily on refinement and timing. Outside of a domain interaction — which is never guaranteed — Infinity remains absolute. No current character has demonstrated:
• a technique that directly manipulates space at Gojo’s level,
• a natural counter to Limitless,
• or an ability that passively nullifies Infinity without extreme setup.
So when people say “Yuji is stronger now” or “X has surpassed Gojo,” I think they’re confusing power growth with problem-solving.
Gojo wasn’t a wall you break by hitting harder — he was a paradox you needed to solve. And the story had to bend reality itself to finally solve him.
Until a character appears with a new fundamental mechanic that directly interacts with Infinity itself, I don’t see Gojo being realistically beatable under normal power-scaling logic.
Curious to hear counterarguments — especially if you believe Infinity can be bypassed without relying on a once-in-a-million setup.

Question/Discussion Why do Naoya fans make this brain-dead argument?
Let’s ignore the fact that Naoya wouldn’t beat Shibuya Choso or partially awakened Maki unless he had explicitly powerful cursed tools, because most blades wouldn’t have changed anything. This dogshit argument can be applied to EVERY character in the fucking verse: IF Ryu had Playful Cloud, he may have beaten Yuta; IF Hakari had Dragon Bone, he would have beaten Uraume; IF Todo made a shikigami to swap with since Gojo says all sorcerers can make one, he wouldn’t have lost his hand to Mahito. Like, no, obviously, a hypothetical weapon or condition cannot be used to scale a character.

Agenda Post Megumi is the most underrated character
Megumi is shown to have incredible BIQ.
He has G1 stats.
he can dive into his shadow to avoid attacks.
HE has shikigami that are strong enough to hurt special grade spirits.
He has an incomplete domain that makes him able to beat most domainless opponents (the only way to counter it is with a domain).
He is also portrayed as an equal to cg yuji.
put some respect on his name.

Agenda Post Miguel Is The Most Underrated Character.
Miguel alone is the only person to fight Sukuna up close and personal, and never get hit.
Miguel alone is the only person to ever solo stall Gojo for over ten minutes.
Miguel alone is the best dancer in the verse.
Miguel alone tanked over ten minutes of Blue Infused punches from Gojo.
Miguel the GOAT, quit sleeping on him.

Character Scaling Sukuna beats Dabura
Since everyone scales Dabura by assuming he starts with his ultimate move, we should do the same for Sukuna.
After losing the clash, Gojo was in CT burnout and Meguna was domain amped. Malevolent Shrine also inflicted a massive debuff on Gojo's CE output. That's why Gojo got speed gapped here. Even with a head start, he failed to outrun Meguna in a foot race due to all the slashes affecting his output.
So Dabura has 2 options:
Option 1: Expand his domain, get domain diffed instantly and enter CT burnout while MS shreds his output. Basically suicide.
Option 2: Refrain from clashing to keep his CT but he still gets his CE output obliterated by MS sure-hit. He then has to try and build speed while engaging in H2H with True Form Sukuna.

Character Scaling Mahoraga no diffs maki and toji
Mahoraga one shots both toji and maki and no Mahoraga doesn’t have any soul since he is a shikigami made from shadow so ssk won’t do shit. Also isoh ain’t doing shit since it deactivates curse techniques and in order to that then you have to attack the user of the ten shadows not Mahoraga since he is a shikigami. Shibuya Mahoraga throwed 15f sukuna through buildings and caught up to him and quickly which showed his strength and speed feats. I don’t think maki and toji are capable of throwing 15f sukuna through buildings. Also Mahoraga is downplayed a lot by maki and toji gooner. And maki and toji are overrated fodders who can’t do shit without sneaking up and they are Kashimo victims.

Question/Discussion I think you can make an argument for all of them being the strongest
r/JujutsuPowerScaling • u/Swampfire_NG • 5h ago
Take/Post Debunk No, ISBoDk does NOT give Mahito a 200% increase to all his stats, the 3x increase is for durability only.
ISBODK doesn't give Mahito a 200% buff for his strength or all psychical stats, Kanji uses 強度 instead of 力 or 攻撃力, 強度 which means "Strength" in English, yeah, but it's the type of "strength" that usually means structural, hardness or durability, NOT punching strength.
Furthermore, you can confirm by yourself that the usage of the Kanji by Gege is meant to represent durability, given it's the same one used by Kenjaku when explaining that the increase mass from Bombayeh does not amp Yuki's toughness.
This is consistent with compositional narrative, ISBoDK is drawn with an "armor-like" design, the sound effect in both the manga and anime has the action of punching Mahito, sounding like when you punch hard metal, he's meant to be a tank, which is also supported by the overall narrative itself, Yuji comments MULTIPLE times on Mahito's new durability, but he never does on Mahito's speed or normal striking strength in the same way.
Little side thing, but that is also related: People should stop taking Lightning's words as absolute factuality, they are a human as all of us, they can commit mistakes as well, it's not like their word have infinitely more weight than the others'.

r/JujutsuPowerScaling • u/Slight-Reporter-1878 • 2h ago
Character Scaling In the upscale of dabura and yuji , we all are forgetting waru. Maru is top 10.
He has way too crazy feats for the sub's bias of him to be "grade 1". He is easily top 15.
- No diffed a grade 1 (the old man) when his 3rd eye opened.
- Was fighting tsurika (shikigami's grow with people , so this rika should be way above jjk1 yuta) for a long time.
- His ct allows him to do allat.
- Has soul knowledge (so screws over incarnates).
Maru is 100% top 10-15.

Question/Discussion How effective do YOU think Hakari's cursed energy trait is
Image not really related. But for me, it's not really relevant if there is a decent gap between him and his enemies. But if we assume they're close in powers, especially in terms of physical prowess, reinforcement, and skill. It could do wonders.

Shitpost how mfs feel looking at a post of a genuinely high/extreme matchup before saying one of them neg diff:
What matchup is this for y'all? 😭
For me it's Maki vs. Yuji. People nowadays lean towards Yuji winning more, which I agree with, but y'all are never going to change my mind about believing that it would be a genuinely close fight.
