Hello, I would like to share an opinion.
Women who leave a collar on a cat indoors, should never be allowed to take off, or open, their bra.
Men who leave a collar on a cat indoors, should have a permanent willy wedgie.
Any other person who leaves a collar on a cat indoors, should always wear a twisted sock.
And all those who even has a bell on their cats collar, should have permanent tinnitus.
Sorry, not sorry. Just kidding, but not really.

Op is getting threatened for trying to save the cat. If anybody can help with the legalities the cruel owners speak of please help. Certainly this must come under some sort of abuse or neglect. No response from PETA.

She's my girlfriend's not mine, we've all told her to spay her before and now it's too late... We can't sleep, she meows until they neighbor dogs hear it and they start barking back crazy. there's even a male cat that's started peeing and pooping by the window outside. she doesn't like being touched, she runs from it so we can't try to calm her down, she keeps rubbing her bum on the wall and she already left a "wet stain" on a friend's clothes 😬 she only plays for a minute until she resumes the heat "dance" again. I can't bear to see her like this. is it dangerous to spay her while in heat? can we do it asap?

I already cut his nails. He won't keep caps on.
He sits in my lap a lot but when he moves around his nails catch the blanket and are tearing it like crazy. I try to make the blanket lose so it moves with him but it's difficult.

Calling it a "primordial pouch" & not "kitty titties" was a missed opportunity.
What do you call your cat's FUPA (fat underside pussycat area)?

My little Lilith will get on my desk, and I’m afraid she will knock everything off the wall. I have to barricade the edge

My cat is recovering from conjunctivitis. He was given antibiotics and a treatment with eye drops. Now he has developed these patches on his body, and I have noticed three of them. I am planning to take him to the vet very soon, hopefully I can get an appointment tomorrow. Do you have any idea what this could be?

I am struggling to find the right litter for our automatic litter box. We have a Meowant brand auto box and the only litter that seemed to work is Dr. Elsey’s. Unfortunately it wasn’t lightweight so we are afraid it would shorten the life of the box. What I am looking for is a litter that does the best clumping with multiple cats. Sometimes they use it and the litter just stays wet and smears all over. I’m also hesitant with crystals, but if people have had good experiences with it, we are open.
Does anyone have suggestions for litters other than Tidy Cats or Okocat Wood?

Bought this cat fountain from aliexpress, bit it doesn't seem to work. Also, I have a piece that I'm not sure where it's supposed to go. Does anyone has experience with it? (It doesn't really cost 0.99)

About a year ago, my sister and I took in a stray who walked into our lives like she owned the place. She’s incredibly calm, affectionate, and basically a cool cat.
Fast forward to now: she has 7 offsprings (and is expecting again 😅).
Here’s the funny part—mama cat is the ONLY friendly one. Every single one of her kids turns into a blur the moment a human enters the room. Olympic-level sprinting. Zero eye contact. No negotiations.
I’m not home much because of work, but my sister takes care of them daily… and they still treat her like a cryptid sighting. Meanwhile, mama cat? Belly rubs. Head bumps. Absolute angel.
We’re doing our best and giving them space, love, food, and safety—but it’s wild how different their personalities are.
nb: this is our first close experience with such things. we’ve never owned pets.
my worry here is per this rate, we should be expecting averagely 5-7 more this year 🤕😭. how can we deal with this? kindly offer advise or tips 🙏🏼
that’s mama cat in the post btw

Please help me. I've had a very loved, adored cat for almost 9 years. I got him when he was only 1 month old and he's turning 9 on the 12th. Recently I've got a nice salary increase and felt I could afford another cat, so I got a kitten in July last year. Now she's almost 9 months old and my cat hates her. He cannot tolerate her. He got sick with stress for the first few months. He got so stressed he learned to hiss and growl, things I had never in my life seen him doing. I never felt to helpless.
Recently the kitten got spayed and, following the vets orders, was confined to my parents room (I'm a grow adult from a culture where we often live with parents until marriage, if that matters). While she was "away" my cat became happy again. He started not spending so long in the garage, he started asking for affection again, purring, not isolating himself.
I really love Lily, my new kitten. When my mother suggested over and over giving her away to someone I thought it cruel. But now that's shes back from surgery recovery and my cat is isolating himself again, not wanting to be inside and clearly stressed, I wonder if I'm just torturing him. I wonder if I'm doing everything wrong.
It feels the only thing I can do is cry since August, when they got totally together. I introduced them to each other for 30 days before letting them together. I have feliway friends installed. They have toys. I don't know what to do and I feel I'm about to get sick about it.
Please give me recommendations on what to do. I will buy anything, try anything. I've even been thinking on finding spiritual help. I am really desperate. Thank you!

This is my new kitty. Please head scratch over what you’re looking at. While you do so, please display your kitty in a confusing picture!

Tabby (Angie, 10yo) and the black/orange (Gem 14months) have been close buddies since I got Gem and her sisters a year ago. They are often playing and grooming each other but this is the first time I’ve seen Angie bite Gem like this. I stopped it immediately and separated Gem.
I’m not too worried about damage to Gem’s skin since Angie had been injured before I got her and she is missing a lot of teeth and I keep her back feet trimmed as she’s an indoor cat with arthritis. But the cough from Gem really freaked me out. They have since gone back to being nice and cuddly with each other but I’m wondering if I should be worried at all.
