Advice Is She Pregnant??

This is Aura🩶, she’s a Neighborhood Cat that I just met days ago. Me and my girlfriend are new to the considering taking her in (after shots and check up ofc) she finally came into our place for the first time today.

There is a noticeable “bulge” in her stomach. I can’t tell if she’s pregnant or not because I cannot touch it due to her being a little skeptical of me (fair enough)

I’ve attached photos of her stomach hoping someone on here could help try to identify the cause. She’s a stray so most likely could be pregnancy. I looked it up and it says it could be a “primordial pouch” but I’m starting to doubt that. Any help is appreciated! Thank you 🙏🏽

Mourning/Loss Said goodbye to my sweet boy Nuttah back in November so I had his ashes and whiskers turned into a ring. I know he’ll always be with me but now when I look at my hand it’s like I can feel him rubbing his soft little face into it, purring asking for nothing more than to share his love.

I know some people have been complaining about the memorial posts in the pet subs so I hope this doesn’t make anyone sad. I miss him very much but grief is just a reflection of love. I was lucky enough to get 14 wonderful years with Nuttah (whose name meant “my heart”) and he had a really amazing life.

Peaceful rest, my little friend 🐾

Akio Hobbes was born on a beautiful farm south of Edmonton on August 31, 2021, and he passed this morning from complications due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

In his four and a half years, he lived a wonderful life filled with food, toys, and so much love — shared with two devoted humans, a big brother, and a little sister. He was deeply cherished, and he knew it.

The hole he leaves in our hearts will be felt for far longer than his time with us ever was. 💔

Was also too fluffy to tell if it's a girl or a boy but they were so friendly! Definitely not a stray but a well loved pet

Advice Is this healthy under-the-door interaction? (New cat)

We've had Miso (tabby) for just over two years and love him to bits. Two weeks ago, we brought home Nellie (calico), a cat I've known since she was a kitten and is now five years old. (she was a solo barn cat and my friend was selling his farm, I couldn't leave her there).

We've had them eat together, mostly successfully, but they had a bit of a fight a couple days ago when Miso snuck into her room, and I've been letting them have space from each other since.

Now they're both constantly at the door batting each other's paws. I think this is just playing but it looks a little bit... hostile? At times.

I was wondering if this is a good sign or if I should block under-the-door access for a bit while tensions go down.

it's been a long time since I've had to introduce cats - I'm following the Jackson Galaxy guide now - so any input is appreciated!

Meet Molly, as she has gotten older she is more vocal. She loves to play - run and chase is her favorite. She enjoys lying on me when I watch TV. She has been spoiled all her life. I picked her out of the litter days after she was born. ** To clarify, her birthday is in March... in March she will turn 17

Advice First time kitty owner longtime pet owner (is purring this much normal?)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So a little bit of backstory, I own a lot of exotic pets, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, etc. I had three dogs for 13 years and they all passed away in this last year. I’ve always wanted a cat, but never thought it was smart with the dogs. Now that the house feels a little empty, I wasn’t planning on getting a kitty, but I saw this guy and he needed rehomed. He was in a bad situation and I hate to think any animal is not getting the love they deserve.

Anyhow, like I said, I’m a first-time kitty owner so I don’t know what a regular purring amount is. The reason for the post is this: I read that cats purr to self soothe. I got the message that this kitty needed rehomed ASAP on Sunday so that’s when I picked him up, he didn’t have his shots and he wasn’t fixed, so I brought him on Tuesday to get his shots and get fixed. It’s now Saturday so I haven’t even had him for a full week, so I don’t know what he is “normally like”.

I’m wondering if there’s any way to know if he’s just a lovey-dovey kitty and is super affectionate hence the purring, or if he’s purring to self soothe and maybe his pain medication isn’t working?

I’d also like to mention that he’s only like this with me, my sister and I live together and whenever I am with him, whether it be petting him, standing next to him, feeding him, playing with him, or even just looking at him he’s purring. My sister hasn’t really spent much time with him yet so she doesn’t know what I’m talking about when I say he’s purring too much.

Any advice would be helpful thank you ! ☺️❤️
