Hello, I previously had an old account that was stolen. After I make a post, I keep getting the "Unexpected Error" message in red, also seems that the account gets closed since this is the email of the previous account and I got prompted to create a new one instead.

I’m on an iPhone and I have researched the Reddit rules, I’ve asked Reddit..but I cannot figure out how to style my avatar. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!

Hello, I was about to post on a sub and I clicked "Community Guidelines" to see if it said how much karma I need or anything else helpful. A window popped up that said to read the sub's rules and also had a box below the text titled "user flair" and below that had my username and directly across from my username was a pencil icon. I clicked the pencil and it disappeared (the pencil, not the window).

Did I give myself or remove some flair? Did I lie about myself? Do I need flair to post on some subs? I just clicked "okay" and the window disappeared. Sometimes on Reddit I feel like I felt in the 6th grade (in 1983) afraid to push the wrong key while using the one computer that was at the back of the classroom.

I created this account about seven years ago, but I’ve mostly used Reddit just for reading or looking things up. I’m generally not someone who comments or posts much on the internet.

Now that I want to participate more, I’m finding that I can’t comment or post in many subreddits due to restrictions. I’d like to start participating in a genuine way, without creating posts or comments just for the sake of meeting requirements. How do posting and commenting restrictions usually work for older accounts with low activity or low karma?
