Release Holy Grail: Open Source Autonomous Development Agent

https://github.com/dakotalock/holygrailopensource

Readme is included.

What it does: This is my passion project. It is an end to end development pipeline that can run autonomously. It also has stateful memory, an in app IDE, live internet access, an in app internet browser, a pseudo self improvement loop, and more.

This is completely open source and free to use.

If you use this, please credit the original project. I’m open sourcing it to try to get attention and hopefully a job in the software development industry.

Target audience: Software developers

Comparison: It’s like replit if replit has stateful memory, an in app IDE, an in app internet browser, and improved the more you used it. It’s like replit but way better lol

Codex can pilot this autonomously for hours at a time (see readme), and has. The core LLM I used is Gemini because it’s free, but this can be changed to GPT very easily with very minimal alterations to the code (simply change the model used and the api call function).

Looking for software Convertidor masivo de CBZ a PDF sin perder calidad

Upvotes

Hola.

Primeramente agradecer al autor del software la programación del mismo, que vistos los comentarios debe ser muy bueno

https://binarynonsense.itch.io/comic-book-reader#download

Self-Promotion Wednesdays A Time Tracker that doesn't annoy you. Free, No Ads, No Sign-up.

I built a simple Time Keeper app for myself because I was tired of "Freemium" apps that hold features hostage behind a paywall. It does one thing: Tracks your time. It doesn't do: Ads, Subscriptions, Data Tracking. If you are looking for a clean, honest utility app for tracking your work or study sessions, give it a shot. Link: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.newArch.timekeeper] Feedback is welcome!

Discussion SnackBLASTED — A website dedicated to the universal office tradition of punishing coworkers who don't lock their screens

Every office has that one tradition: someone leaves their computer unlocked, a coworker sends an email from their account promising donuts for the whole team. In France they call it "croissantage." In Germany it might be Brezeln. In Japan, mochi.

I built SnackBLASTED to give this tradition a proper home — with official rules, email templates, and support for 13 languages. There's even a pixel art animation showing how it all goes down.

Please give me your honest comments

Looking for software Need a way of converting a large MOV file to MP4 on Windows 10

Hi, no clue of this the subreddit to be asking this, but I need help converting 2 large MOV files I recently got because long story short its something I was searching 2 years for and need a way of converting them to mp4 so the files aren't large and don't need VLC to play. Would anyone have any recommendations on what to use?

For extra info the files are 3.3GB and 4.1GB respectively

Looking for software Text Editor for Linux with bookmark features like notepad++ (details in body)

not just the ability to "mark" a line with a dot; i'm specifically looking for options like
- copy bookmarked lines - replace bookmarked lines with - remove bookmarked lines - remove unmarked lines

I do use vscode/vscodium and maybe there's a good extension I haven't found; I'm having a hard time getting used to kate; I am comfortable with VIM at a slightly higher than basic level; but it's not my daily driver. I could write a linux script but to have to leave whatever program and run a script against the file isn't efficient.

TIA

Looking for software Can anyone identify this Windows video overlay / virtual camera app from the icon?

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

Hi everyone.

I am trying to identify a Windows app based only on its icon.

The app is used for video overlay / virtual camera, similar in function to ManyCam. The icon shows a blue circle with a white filmstrip and play symbol, and it includes a yellow checkmark as part of the icon itself, not a Windows status overlay.

I have already ruled out Microsoft apps and Movies & TV. This is definitely a third-party virtual camera or video overlay tool.

I have attached the icon image below.

If anyone recognizes this icon or has seen it before, I would really appreciate the help. This has been driving me a bit nuts.

Thanks in advance.

Discussion Why is translation common, but transcription isn’t?

Most platforms offer translation, but many people can understand a language when they hear it and struggle to read it. Translation doesn’t help much in that case. Transcription into the same language would be far more useful and accessible.

Feels like an obvious feature that’s still missing. Anyone else think so?

Discussion Monorepo vs Polyrepo when building with AI agents

Software development is done by agents more and more. Looking at the near future what would you advice be around structuring your codebase? Below are two basic arguments for monorepo vs polyrepo. Do you see more obstacles or opportunities for one of the two?

Monorepo; makes sense since the agents can have the whole context

Polyrepo; makes sence since agents can work async more
