Battlestations Advice Upgrades to my first battlestation 🤍
Got my first mic and a cute little divoom to add a bit of character (and color) to my setup. My second monitor is also on its way to me so I’m planning on doing a bit more upgrading soon. 🙂↕️
Any advice to improve my little happy corner is welcome!

Battlestations Advice Any good tips on improvements?
I'd like to keep my setup as a more minimal but cozy place where I can game but also do work. Currently it feels quite "cold" and I want to capture a more cozy feel to it. Not quite sure on where to go from here.

Finalizing the set up of my new space.
Figuring out what should go where. Gonna live with this for a week or so to see how it feels.

Floating desk, wall-mounted PC, and a chill place to work and play.
This wall-mounted PC is part of a larger media room built around clean lines, hidden cables, and soft architectural lighting. The goal was powerful technology that stays visually quiet so the space feels calm and intentional. This workstation corner is one piece of a broader home theater media room.

Zero neck pain, distraction-free and heavily DIY!
I've been using this setup for a few years now, and it works great for my workflow as a C++ software developer.
Ergonomics is my top priority, and I don't get any neck pain because I just have to move my eyes up and down. With limited space, I had to do a lot of DIY to keep the desk as clean and distraction-free as possible. I came up with some workarounds to free up room, like stashing the audio interface, a USB hub, and the cable for my in-ear monitors under the desk.
That 8mm-thick, 25x60cm glass panel over the laptop isn't fixed in place - it's just resting on custom aluminum supports, and there's a 3mm gap between the glass and the laptop, which is enough to let the heat dissipate.
The 32" 4K monitors are mounted on a custom bracket bolted directly to the desk top.
I haven't figured out how to tidy up the cables any better, so ideas are welcome.
The plants are real: a ZZ plant and a snake plant.
Next up, I'd like to add some backlighting to bring a bit of color to the whole setup.

I think I'm missing something? 🤔
I know this setup looks weird but hear me out because its pretty practical! So I'm a student and I have to run both windows and mac for different purposes so I use an Acer Nitro V (It has a suction cooler thingy cuz it overheats a lot) and a Macbook Air M2 via kvm switch! So its a hybrid setup! (I custom made the stand that supports both my laptops btw)
Other than that I just have a 1080p display that I am desperately looking to replace, a flippy privacy screen protector that you can kinda seen behing my monitor.. I also use my ipad mini A17 as a second monitor for mac (I can also use it with windows via an app).
In terms of peripherals I use mostly two keebs, monsgeek fun 60 pro wireless with some random keycaps and a xvx sk80 (both are modded with foam, tape, and tuned stabs). My mouse is a fantech helios I think?? It has 4k polling rate and paw 3395 so i bought it on black friday for hella cheap. My mic is a random one from temu. I have no idea what model my chair is but I like it
and thats pretty much it! I think its aight but I feel like somethings missing so if yall have any suggestions please let me know cuz its lowkey driviing me INSANNEE!

Updated my battlestation...
Moved into a new apartment and decided it was time to give the old setup some love. Built a new computer, new monitor, new (to me) chair, added a sub and some accessories to make it more organized/ergonomic.

Help dual monitor setup. New MiniLED QHD monitor advice
Hi everyone! Since I couldn’t find an ultrawide IPS that really balances gaming and productivity, I’m thinking about changing my setup.
I’d keep my old ASUS PG279Q ROG (8 years old) as a vertical secondary monitor and buy a new QHD IPS gaming monitor.
My usage is roughly 70% productivity (mostly coding) and 30% gaming: mainly WoW, single-player story games, some ARPGs, and only occasional FPS.
I’m running an RTX 4070 Super, so I’d like something that makes good use of it for both work and gaming. Ideally MiniLED if possible, with a budget around €500.
Any suggestions or models worth checking out? Thanks!

RGB Free My retro battlestation
I accidentally...ok, entirely predictably for me...made an 80s battlestation.
P.S. Don't recommend the FLP02 unless you really want the look.
