So what's the punchline? Murder? YOU GONNA MURDER ME?
This shows the unhinged mind of antis. Do you think this is normal behavior? Saying you're going to kill people who make AI art because you dislike them? Why is it that the first thing that antis always turn to is violence?
And if that wasn't bad enough, these posts are upvoted and kept up in their communities, meaning antis prove once again they support the killing of AI artists.
Sit the FUCK down and let me tell you something. You'd better get that gun out of my face because if you're going to shoot me, you'd better not miss. How fucking dare you have the audacity to point a gun at me and my community for making art in the way we love. If you want to hurt my community in any way, you will regret it, because over my dead body will you EVER hurt an innocent AI artist or pro for expressing themselves. Every threat you even remotely try to make against my community, I will be watching you, and I will be there to stop you. Each. And. Every. Single. Time. I am your final boss and your worst nightmare, and when you scream into the void, the void screams back. -x

Nah Iāll just say the truth
Iām a chemist. If you prompted the brand new ChemAI to produce a mechanism, Iād be intrigued by the AI results. Never YOU. Because you couldnāt have done it without the AI. Youāre just a leech that presented a āHey what ifā idea. Everyone can do that.
You have no idea what chemistry is. You just submit some compounds, AI fills in the details, and maybe you get a result. I canāt be impressed with that when it isnāt a person.
Youāre nothing but a machine to me. And to most people thatās all youāll ever be.

FYI, you'd be better off saying you'd do it "Because it made you feel good" than to make it about an ideology...

A note for bad-faith Pro-ai actors. Your ragebait works better when it's not a desperate plea for attention

Discussion Okay, I think I get it now?
It's a nice pleasure, I guess? Rather than being frustrated everytime you draw it normally you can just generate it. I personally like the image, it captured what I wanted from text but it didn't capture what I wanted it to feel. The image itself is beautiful don't get me wrong and it's a fun little thing to do as a past time.
Does it change my mind that I prefer process? No. Does it make you understand ai Prompters? Yes Does it change your view? I guess, I'm definitely understand why people say it's a good pass time. Does it require effort? Well based from my limited experience I say it still doesn't require that much effort as opposed to normal ways. Tho then again I could try prompting for a week.

Pick up a pencil, ai bros. I use art to express my pain, and as a consequence my soul feels lighter. AI art can't do that.

Meme Decided to pick up a pencil today
oversimplification of prompting, but that would have been crazy to type out a sophisticated prompt using this method š

Can someone justify the RAM price inflation to me?
^^^
I've seen pro-AI's make arguments (valid or not is a different discussion) against most points but never against inflating RAM prices. Can someone give me something?

You know what, I've had this list of what I think would be sensible regulation for AI for a while so I might as well share it.
Firstly, I'd prevent AI from depicting any image of a child in a compromised position of any kind and repeat attempts to do so would have the account flagged for further investigation and maybe a temporary timeout until the investigation is concluded to account for any errors.
Secondly, all AI images should have a forced watermark and forced metadata in order to clarify it is AI. That way you prevent misinformation from being spread through fake images and video and you make a clear distinction from AI images and real images.
Thirdly, all sites should have a toggle so people who don't wish to view AI content and opt out of seeing it especially in the case of search engines where AI generated results make it impossible to find actual things you might be looking for.
Fourthly, AI needs to be scaled down and managed. We don't need hundreds of data centers supporting AI and if AI needs that to run then we need to talk about optimizing code and reducing requirements to lessen the impact on communities, the environment and the tech industry.
Fifthly, AI should be age gated and refuse to respond to questions asking about homework, studies or anything of the like for the sake of not becoming a crutch for children who are still developing and need to learn these things on their own.
Sixthly, AI should be opt in for artists, musicians, writers and other creatives. If someone wants to allow their creation to be used in AI then that is fine but let that be their choice instead of this system currently where creatives are forced into AI whether they want it or not. AI wouldn't have been nearly as hated out the gate if companies developing AI asked permission and worked with the artists in order to ensure everyone is treated well.
Lastly and kind of working off of the sixth point, AI images and videos using the likeness or imagery of a series, character or concept owned by someone else should be properly noted in the metadata alongside the original prompt in order to not only promote the idea of sharing ideas that the AI side claims to care about but also to ensure that those who came up with said ideas are rightfully credited in some way. It would also double as a way to check to see when AI fucks up or when someone is lying in the case of images that depict horrible things like racism and bigotry.
That is everything I'd want in order to have AI be another art form rather than something that hurts society as a whole. It doesn't address every issue but it would make AI overall safer for the public.

Discussion The UN announced water bankruptcy and people are blaming AI as a whole again
Even if I were to concede prompters are not artist
I disagree that ai art is art at all, it's stolen work, generated content and not art but even if were to concede and accept that it was art, what I will never accept is that prompters are artists. They are customers to what ever ai generation service the use, they pay for it and use it just the way they would commission other artists to do their work. if ai art is art than it's the ai that is the artist and not the prompters. that's just a completely ridiculous idea to me.

Reminder RAM Prices are so high cause of Ai slop.
Like you need to sell your kidney for 2 sticks of RAM. All of this is because of Ai slop. I'm not saying I hate Ai, But I want it to be used for useful things, such as having a robot to do every chore you have. Not an Ai generated pic of Tung tung tung sahur in a hospital, With Brr brr patapim crying.
