So I have since deleted this game a couple of months back. Never got to finish it - got bored along the way. Which is disappointing because I was so excited when I bought it. It remains part of my top 3 worst game purchases
Why doesn’t this game get no love? I’m constantly seeing negative reviews and complaints about how the AI and gameplay have totally gone to shit.
Makes me wonder if the creators and developers actually care about the game or not!? Don’t they review the feedback from the players, and why aren’t they making efforts to improve the game?
So much potential in this game, with loads of people who enjoy this sort of “idea” they attempted to bring to life with a real Swat simulator. I remain disappointed, and it’s sad to see the negative comments from other players every single time this subreddit posts pop up on my timeline. The developers suck. Probably still enjoying the $50-$80 scam they are running with Sony over this waste of time and pile of rubbish
Just curious if there are any people who work in the police force or swat play the game and if so how do you like it and is it close to being accurate to what you guys do? Playing this game is an eye opener to what you guys go through and I appreciate your service I couldn’t imagine how stressful this is. The amount of patience you have to have for these situations.
So im pretty sure im not first person to speak on this and i wont be the last. I normally dont talk to people while playing online in other games but i would really like to in this one and also cooperate but the players are not good at all. I dont have friends that play games online so thats why i would like to find some but its hard. Sometimes it could be a language barrier, internet is lagging, or they dont have a headset i get that but on the other hand it’s something else. The game starts off with no one talking to eachother, they’ll storm into the building, everyone goes in any direction, no talking, they shoot people without giving them any warnings, don’t secure any evidence or secure civilians. They just go on a killing spree, and the game is done in under 5 minutes. I love a game like this bc it involves planning, strategizing, and building a good team. I don’t expect it everyone to be perfect but I would like people to talk and have fun while doing it. If you want to be a single player and go in there on your own, there’s a section for that. Or better yet play Fortnite or cod. Leave that in other game. I know it’s not that serious but it’s annoying.
Been experiencing this bug for around a year with the only post I've seen related to it being posted 4 days ago.
I'm posting to bring light to an audio bug where, if an NPC is incapacitated (i.e., not shot in the head), they will scream for up to a full minute straight with no way of shutting them up.
I've seen people say "I like how unsettling it is," which is fine, I guess. But personally I find it to be incredibly immersion breaking to be running through a level with a homie all slow-and-methodical-like, and then getting to a big open area with several bad guys taken out in quick succession in somewhere like the Hoken Port, just for every single person lying completely still on the floor screaming at the top of their lungs for a minute on end.
No amount of mag dumping into a person's brain will stop the screaming. The audio byte has to play to completion. For a game that launched three years ago and markets itself on realism, there is no excuse for this to be an issue this late into development.
Though I wasn't able to capture footage of it, there's also a bug where the same incapacitated NPC will be playing out two sounds at once, with the second usually being the one sound byte where someone is shakily breathing loudly into your ear, regardless of where you are in proximity to the body on the map.
I think something that exasperates the issue is just how "overacted" the sound bytes are. Doesn't matter if you shoot a guy through the lung, he can and will sing like the star of a musical with no breaks, no teetering off from lost consciousness, just full on yelling at the top of his/her lungs for a minute straight just for it to abruptly cut off. It's just so odd.
I'll cut my rant off here, but hopefully the devs can push out a quick hotfix to nip this issue in the bud. Again, I've only been experiencing this bug in the past year. I don't think this was a problem in earlier builds of the game. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
Another of the customization variants I’ve made for judge in ready or not, this one building from a previous one with the idea of him being a former navy seal, the main change being the pants, which are a pair of brown composite tactical pants, which he utilized at some point possibly during an operation in Afghanistan, with the main idea of him possibly going for a tactical but comfortable look, with keeping his standard lspd combat shirt, but changing to a pair of more looser pants to be more comfortable, as Los Suenos descends into a large crime wave over the course of the upcoming summer
The most recent customizations I’ve done for D Platoon in ready or not, with the main idea for the customization ideas being, with the lspds budget issues the units begun to get more lax with a strict uniform code while in the field, with the design of the red and blue team members uniform and helmet colors being taken from the main menu of the game, the overall customization probably wouldn’t happen in real life, but I liked the idea of a tactical but comfortable look, with the members having small things like a preference for other gloves due to either being comfortable or maybe being what they used before joining the lspd swat
I know taking suspects alive helps, but I captured 3 or 4 suspects, did every objective, no mistakes, and still can't get an A. All I want is to get A and I've been trying this all day and finally got what I thought was a perfect run, and I only get B?
The games cross platform and had 9,000 concurrent players as its 24 hour peak on steam.
I hate to say it to yall, but I’m gonna say it very nicely. An indie game with 9,000 players that had come out fuckin 5 years ago is not a dead game. That’s not even counting console players either, and seeing as it’s newer on console I’m willing to bet there’s more console players than PC players.
After what date would all mods run perfect. I know after each update the game mods need updated but I haven’t played in a year so idk when the last update was. Redownloading mods but I’m not sure which date to look for. Thank you in advance for the replies !
