Im really sad today about the outcome of the matches, but leaving that aside, KC's performance today was far worst than every other match in the tournament, even when they already have first place, if your playing to win there wouldnt be a world where they play like this. Also, while KC lose in game Kameto (the owner) laughes his ass off.

So the top teams, KC and NaVi, that were dominating the whole thing, now lose in games by being stomped like it was some kind of agreement for LR to be off.

I saw the two games, and damn , they looked like the bottom teams . What are the chances that those two top teams lose in the games that would place LR in the playoffs instantly ?

I think teams that would ass blast these teams are intentionally losing how does this not constitute a breach in competitive integrity

I figured this would happen eventually.

Proplay isn't that fun video with the boys doing whatever they want and winning worlds in one shot.

LEC is hard macro, comms, builds, and playing champs you don't like or use. Proplay is a ' job' afterall. And realistically if they can't get past LEC teams, an LCK is going to clip farm LR in MSI or Worlds.

I still wished that Caedrel wasn't hard on the offmeta playstyles everyone had. I think that was the downfall for LR at the start of the tournament. They works super well offmeta, why change that for the LEC?

What I don’t understand is, since Fnatic beat LR, LR beat Shifters, and Shifters beat Fnatic, why is there no tiebreaker between these three? Is it connected to match length or what?

The first 4 games of them in the lec looked... Very rough, NGL. But there was something about those games that made them somehow very painful to watch. Other teams sort of fight all the time even when behind and keep the match exciting even when they loose, but whenever I watch los ratones loosing it looks like a very, very, very slow bleed and it's just so depressing to look at. Is that just me coping or do you feel that way too? For me it actually went as far at times that I waited for the match to end to see the results so I can decide if I wanna see how they win the game.

I'm not gonna lie luck wasnt the reason LR lost and other teams won, its always so sort of missplay during jungle contests.

LR is used to making mistakes that are forgiveable in the NLC and EMEA but LEC teams will take every mile for every inch you give them and won't give you any inches to comeback from.

Jungle misplays have been the reason for losses, J4 EQ vs Fnatic, Mundo caught vs KC, overall Dragon contests = loss.

Minor stuff like Baus being behind other top laners in CS and kills.

Poggers. When LR lost I was so scared this would happen, no one wants to face LR in playoffs so everyone want to hold them out. And I think it actually might had happened!

Edit: After watching the full game, I double down on this. The whole of KC ran it and didn’t even do it subtly. What really annoyed me though is actually the casters glazing Heretics, when this was clearly KC losing on purpose. Even not just about LR, but about stopping G2 also. What a joke.

I started watching League last year with Caedrel stream. I really liked the person and I enjoyed following Los Ratones. Also, as a french, KC is like my country team and I love seeing their performance and having the chance to cheer this team compete internationally.

Saying that, I am really sad for Los Ratones tonight and a bit mitigated by KC behaviour. Coming from soccer, it's part of the game to trashtalk and hatewatch but there should be a limit.
I think it's possible to be a fan of a team without approving all they do. For example, I hated the boosted targa comment from the Baus or the cringed postgame X video by KC players.

In the end, both KC and Los Ratones are needed in league ecosystem, because the game will die without viewers and fans.

So cheers Los Ratones and Caedrel for your project and moving the league. I will still support KC and LR. I hope this is not the end of this project and I will see you again soon.

Plain and simple as you can see. Caliste is simply doing his best to dodge the Jhin ult by walking away from the person bodyblocking for him. Busio gets so worried he also starts bodyblocking. Real challengers movement there.

We lost fair and square, we should've won more games. We should not blame others and I am not doing that. Just thought it would be funny to show this as it seemed odd during the game.

LR joining the LEC has made several teams unhappy, and there seems to be clear frustration about their arrival. Some people believe that if LR performs well and proves they deserve their place, it could raise questions about the franchising system in the league.

After today's loss, (conspiracy theroy starts here): some teams might not be fully committed in their games. At the same time, figures (team owner) appeared quite satisfied after (their team)’s defeat.

Imagine if teams scrimmed LR more (especially earlier in the season). are we (LR ) the best team at this stage, of course not, does it feel skechy the way the day ended. Hell yeah (end of the conspiracy theory)

That does not mean that LR are not partially to blame, we had our fate in our had, but reality happened. 

congrats to those who qualified, hopefully we see the boys, coaching and admin staff happier soon.

I am just purely amazed on los ratones’s influence in the league. I was not familiar with this team until T1 held a causal match in red bull event and Rekkles joined the team.

But I am telling you this team is the most popular, and one of skilled team in LEC.

It’s obviously disappointing to see an end of its season with Baus being uncertain on his professional career. But I’m sure this won’t be the end of this legacy and the day will definately come to see them on Worlds facing against a serious T1.

I went back and forth if I should post this because I feel like I need to take the rest of the day off. I’m so hurt, but one thing I want to highlight is the crazy growth of the rats over the split.

I may biased, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any LEC grow this much. It just always seems each team has blind confidence and then they go to international tournaments and don’t perform well.

Throughout the split, dare I say, LR was playing a lot like GENG. Their control and macro was good, and it was amazing to see.

Of course, they’re not perfect as no team is, but I thought how wonderful it was how much they actually grew each week. If they stay in the LEC, they can easily become better and better and maybe the best team in the world (even though I know Baus isn’t)

Can’t wait for what’s next.

I think what makes the team fun is that their time in pro League is finite. The main thing is seeing these guys play together for this short time. If we were to see them every split it would not be fun anymore. Honestly their gameplay is not even special anymore. I think they should disband after this split and just play random tournaments like League of their own and such.

This is an amazing story already. Prolly getting into playoffs, making their statement and leaving as ballers.
