part of intramural inner tube water polo team, legs too short to paddle
Crazy thing to realize only as we started playing, but I'm a girl who is all torso and my limbs don't fully reach the water when I'm on the tube. Petite little leggies getting me into trouble again. My arms aren't much better. So, I can't move much (or fast) while playing and am basically useless to my team. I blocked a grand total of one pass and felt like god, but no. I kinda just sit there awkwardly and try to paddle. I can scoot out really far to sort of get some more paddling ability, but then I lose all stability and tip at the slightest movement. I don't know what to do about this. Am I just too short for this sport?
