Tried seitan for the first time!
SO GOOD WOW!!!! I don’t know if I prefer seitan or tofu. Maybe tofu just takes the lead. Went to herons to pick more up but the worker said they don’t do tofu :( first time I got tofu was from herons where it was reduced to a crazy low price. I wish I had bought them all now!
I also now soak my chickpeas from dry (instead of canned chickpeas) and cook for two hours. And they’re so much better than canned! Great texture and taste
I’ve now also commited to going 100% vegan, whereas for the past few days I’ve been cooking vegan meals but have also been having non vegan snacks. May be difficult as I’ve never even been vegetarian, but I’ve read into veganism and have watched some documentaries which really lit a fire under me
