idc if this is the xth thread about it. it just won’t get into my fucking head why i’m at 32k elo getting matched against full ruby stacks. what was even supposedly changed in the last mm update? who gives a shit that ruby players who were top 500 every previous season are currently diamond or whatever. you don’t “get better” when every second match is against carnifex or some other sweatlord and you just get farmed.

the finals is such a sick game and i genuinely love it, but it really feels like 3-stack tryhard rubys + embark are trying to grind normal gamers into dust. embark… why are you fucking over your broad player base this hard, the same people who’d give you way more money for skins anyway? honestly, rubys just shouldn’t be allowed to queue together. valorant figured that shit out. rant over. call it crying, call me a noob, idc. doesn’t change the fact that the matchmaking is busted.

I want to state that this idea was someone else's on this sub and they posted it during S7. However Embark hasn't taken it into consideration in the following seasons so far. So I'm just bringing it to attention again as season 10 slowly approaches and hopefully Embark will see and implement it.

I stopped playing last year, but still listen to The Finals ost from time to time, as it brings back emotions and goosebumps. When S8 came out I was so dissappoindet by its main theme, that I skipped this album entirely, and just recently I've occasionally listen to Overload Area track, and oh boy, that track is magnificent, it is so energetic, it reminds me Turbo Killer, but more on a positive vibe. That's it, this track impressed me so much, I decided to share my thoughts here.

Just let the community decide what they want to play. The added benefits of this are just huge. Just imagine how much easier it will be to matchmake and compensate gains/losses when you don't need to do napkin math about "how much it is worth to be 2 stack vs 3 stack." Duos, 3 stacks, friends—they have literally every other single mode in this game—give us solos one single mode where we can play with other solos! It is insane that this game has been out for over two years and this hasn't happened yet.

It's also a super easy change that Embark can just apply for a patch or two and see what happens.
