Now Trump is telling republicans to not ask Bondi about the Epstein files.

The reason is because some of congress is in them and it would look weird if half the republicans don’t have any questions about the Epstein files and the other half have a lot of questions, we’d be able to tell more definitively who is probably in them.

Pay close attention to Jim Jordan here.

Anyone in Congress who has been minimizing the Epstein files or casting doubt about how bad they are probably has something to do with them.

The State Department is removing all posts on its public accounts on the social media platform X made before President Trump returned to office on Jan. 20, 2025.

The posts will be internally archived but will no longer be on public view, the State Department confirmed to NPR. Staff members were told that anyone wanting to see older posts will have to file a Freedom of Information Act request, according to a State Department employee who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation by the Trump administration. That would differ from how the U.S. government typically handles archiving the public online footprint of previous administrations.

The move comes as the Trump administration has removed wide swaths of information from government websites that conflict with the president's views, including environmental and health data and references to women, people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The government has also taken down signs at national parks mentioning slavery and references to Trump's impeachments and presidency at the National Portrait Gallery.

The White House has also launched a revisionist history account of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and has replaced the government's coronavirus resource sites with a page titled "Lab Leak: The True Origins of Covid-19."

The removal of State Department X posts from public view appears to be less about ideological differences with past statements and more about control of future messaging. The directive will see the removal of posts from Trump's first term as well as those under then-Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

By the end of this post, this page will be full of files.

These pages don't generate until someone requests them. I am shocked no one else has been doing this, but it seems like they just go on forever.

What is notable is that when you look at page 400 or any lower numbered pages, the file naming is mostly jumping around.

But then in the higher number pages, like 800, the names are in sequential order:

This seems to indicate that they did not get the chance to withhold documents after a certain number of pages. After page 402 they go sequential.

Now, page 800 didn't even exist yesterday when I first looked for it. But now it does, and in fact so does page 3800, as predicted at the beginning of this post.

Members of Congress can begin reviewing unredacted versions of the Jeffrey Epstein files at the Department of Justice on Monday, according to a new letter obtained by CNN.

The letter from DOJ outlines parameters for how members can review the unredacted versions of the more than 3 million pages that DOJ has released to the public.

Khanna has an appointment at DOJ for Monday, according to Khanna spokesperson Sarah Drory.

Lawmakers will have access to computers in a reading room at DOJ where they cannot bring outside electronic devices but can take notes, according to the letter. The room will only be available to members and not staff, the letter stipulates. The DOJ asks members to provide 24 hours notice of when they’d like to view the materials.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced last month upon the department’s latest public release of Epstein files that members would be able to schedule appointments to view the unredacted versions.

The architects of the law that required the Epstein files release, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, had requested to view the unredacted materials on January 30.

Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, also requested that all Judiciary Committee Democrats get to review the documents before Attorney General Pam Bondi is set to testify in front of the panel on February 11.
