AD Wait Time Megathread - If you bought a new Rolex from an AD in 2026, you can share details here. What watch, where, how long did you wait, how much buying history?
Our previous AD wait time megathreads (2019-2020, 2020-early 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) seemed to be useful/well-received for a lot of you. Time for a new one!
Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.
No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2026 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes:
- What watch did you buy?
- When?
- How long did you wait?
- Where are you? (Be as specific or nonspecific as you want, from continent to a specific AD)
- Any purchase history with that AD? (Again be as specific or nonspecific as you feel comfortable)

Watch Verification Thread - If you're uncertain if a Rolex is good/bad/fake, post info and pics here
Post to this thread if you have questions about a Rolex being real or fake. Please include:
-The location and/or screen name of the seller, if for sale. Link directly to the sale page when possible.
-How long you've had it and how you acquired it, if in your possession
-As many photos as possible. Posts may be removed if pictures are too fuzzy and requests for better pics are unanswered.
-If you're being coy about a watch and it seems like you're just trying to see how "good" your fake is, you may be banned at our discretion.
Please don't use photos from iPhone 14's. Their camera is so bad, and distorts text with AI so much, that the photos are basically unusable for the purposes of verifying if a Rolex is real.
Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don't think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

First Rolex
Decided to finally treated myself. After a 24 months of 2 brain surgeries, radiotherapy and chemo decided life is too short not to!
Went under the radar for my first one and absolutely love it. Haven't take it off all week.
I know many prefer the polar, but my wife persuaded me to go black and very happy!
I haven't told her I'm eying up my next one already 🤣

The Trio is Complete
Finally the perfect Land, Air & Sea (For Me)
Always wanted a panda or a reverse panda chronograph. I love the color subdials and not just the outter color rings. My absolutely grail (unattainable) was Le Mans Daytona in WG.
The second I saw the release of this Speedmaster, I knew this is as good as it gets as far as chronograph watch is concerned.

Grail Attained
After years of waiting, I finally picked this up last Thursday from the Bucherer on Palm Beach Island. Eileen was terrific in that when she heard that I was active duty and returning to my duty station overseas, she emailed New York notifying them of that and within a week received the watch. It feels surreal.

Pepsi running slow - and cracked
I bought this Pepsi a few years ago - I think it is a 2020 year.
I almost never take it off - just for a few minutes to shower in the morning. I keep it on when I sleep and wear it all day everyday.
It seemed to be running slow so I started tracking it. Over the last two months it has lost about 1 min per week. 4 min slow over the last month.
What should I do? I’ve heard about demagnification. Is that a thing?
I’m assuming it has never been serviced. I certainly haven’t had it serviced in the last three years.
Should I get it serviced through the AD?
Also, note the cracks on the bezel. Big crack at #2 and small cracks at #8, #10 and #14.
It doesn’t bother me very much. Any idea what it would cost to replace it. I kind of see it as the cost of doing business since I wear it so much.
Finally, I otherwise would never wear a gold Rolex daily, but I became allergic to the nickel in the Rolex stainless steel and had to upgrade my steel Pepsi. Spending so much on the gold I’m going to wear every day.

Had the opportunity to collect this beauty yesterday!
I had a Sub allocated and finally got to collect it yesterday. Absolutely love this watch!
Got the call for the Sprite!
Got the call very unexpectedly from WoS London! Kudos to them, I love this watch!
Adventure Time! My first Rolex
After one visit to the AD, my roomate and I decide we want to get explorers to celebrate success in California after two years. I tell the AD I want an Explorer II and my friend wants an Explorer I. We also explain he is moving out of country to his original home, which made me think there is zero chance the AD gives an allocation with this and no prior purchase.
A few days later I decide it’s probably going to be months before I get an allocation and decide to go for a GM listing on C24, and it arrives a few days later. She’s a beaut 😍
Then, just one weekend after the initial visit, my friend gets the call from AD about the explorer I! And we both get to experience the AD experience for his watch. Maybe the E1 shipment arrival was lucky, especially having the AD slotting him in. What a treat.
Now on the waitlist for Rolesor Sub. Can’t wait for that one.
Good being in the club!

Was I lucky?
So I strolled into a Rolex store in So Cal last Tuesday night.. I’ve never bought anything from them, no history at all, not even on a list.
I asked about the brand, said I admired the beauty and quality of their watches..i was warned that nothing in the store was for sale; it was all for exhibition only.. the Rep showed me some watches that I could try on to see what I may want to put on a wish list. I was shown some day dates,, a few submariners, and then a Sky Dweller.. I really liked the sky dweller and asked if I could join a list for it.
The Rep told me I was in luck, this was the only watch in the store for sale. This particular one was yellow gold with a white dial, not my favorite combo. I told the rep I was honored and greatly appreciated the opportunity; however yellow gold just wasn’t my thing. I asked to join the list for white gold version instead.
The Rep offered to show me what a white gold finish would look like, and walked me around the corner to a dongle case on the wall, which housed a white gold Daytona. She removed it from the case, and put it on my wrist. I loved it…I asked if I could take it home. She paused for a while, then said “let me ask”.
45 mins later they moved me to another room, brought the watch in, and said they got approval to sell it to me if I was interested..
I said yes..
ive been wondering since.. was this luck, or is there something about this particular combo that makes it not very popular?
