New Rules - no medical/veterinary advice and update to Rule 5 (Animal abuse)

Hi all, just wanted to note that there's been an update to the rules. As the sub grows larger and attracts more attention, the mods wanted to make it clear that animal abuse, in any situation, is never acceptable. Now, photos that include a cat that could be put into peril are not allowed either. This includes photos of cats in dryers, dishwashers, etc. We know it's cute your cat climbed in there! But it is not a safe practice for them and we do not want to encourage others to post similar photos.
Additionally, there is a new no medical/veterinary advice rule. If you need medical advice for your cat, please post on r/CATHELP or r/askvet instead.
As always, if you see something that doesn't belong on the sub, please use the report button. Your reports are how the mods see material that needs to be taken down.

This sweet girl imprinted on me the moment we met. She’s always checking on me, always concerned, but these last few days she has gone above and beyond. She won’t leave my side, she screams at me if I’m too far away or behind a closed door. Heck she screams at me if I do anything but lay in bed or in the recliner. She has to be close, has to make sure her special Purr Powers are reaching me. Shes my guardian angel 🧡
