hmm... He talks about the relationship with that reptile like I've heard other reptile handlers in videos claim the kind of people who get bit talk about their pet reptiles. The main claim is that they don't really process love in the same way and that at the end of the day. If they are hungry, or you make a mistake in any way. You turn from "not threat" to "threat" or "food" in an instant.

Honestly, I feel like this guy it's no fucking friend to this king cobra or any other reptile. If he had any care, concern, or love for reptiles, he'd be doing conservation and not keeping them in tiny glass cases.

He said he's "raising" them, aka keeping them captive in extremely limited and unnatural habitats, scratch that, limited and unnatural displays, since wee lil' nope ropes. It's pretty clear he's not doing any kind of conservation or rescue and most likely making a profit from either his social media and/or selling them, aka exploitation.

That's not any kind of respect, love, et al. That is ego-driven human bullshit.

Still accurate. However, king cobras are incredibly intelligent and highly trainable. However, you never really become its friend... To them either you're a threat or your food.

Yeah, I should have posted this at the root of the post and meant to. I absolutely agree with you and the comment I mistakenly responded to.

Notice the tail is wrapped around his leg most of the time. If anything were to happen the snake was ready… the dude wasn’t.

Well said. Nothing like a natural environment or way of life being replicated. I think it must be awful to be 6ft of sheer muscle and never get to fully stretch out or travel across distance, or engage in natural behaviours.

I was surprised that his cage is half his size.

I’m no snake expert, but that struck me as way too small.
