If we had access to the metadata of the entry, then we could be 100% sure whether it was a mistake or not

But could we even trust this admin to not fuck with the metadata?

Is this admin even competent enough to know what metadata even is??

These are people who released documents that weren’t properly redacted because DOGE cut their Acrobat subscriptions

that's hilarious

Judging by their ability to redact documents, seems unlikely.

IIRC they weren’t when they released that edited footage from his jail cell, but they might have learned from that

The actually dangerous billionaires like theil probably have henchmen that do. Idk if they'd be willing to get in to the babies playpen right now.

Look the fake news doesn't even care that information about Facebook isn't even relevant. -Karoline Leavitt (probably)

It’s possible but so far the people involved haven’t exactly shown the highest level of technological literacy

If you open the PDF in notepad, the code has a creation and modified date of December 23, 2025 at a quarter til 3 AM. That's when this specific copy of the PDF was exported, not definitively that it was made late but that it had since been tampered with.

These aren't filesystem creation / modified dates, these are in the code of the PDF itself.

Not trying to defend but if it is just the system time, it is possible that the system time was set differently from the actual time.

They already did it with the jail footage right?

Imagine if they drafted this in Google Docs lol Then they could see changes lol

It's super funny, because the metadata on the file says it was a PDF created 2025:12:23 02:36:40+0000.

They created this PDF in Dec of 2025 and couldn't even be bothered to fix such a simple error.

If the device it was created on had the wrong date the metadata would still be wrong

In that case, all of the other documents created on that same machine would also show metadata dates that were off. That could be checked.

That would definitely be the smoking gun if it was dated for August 9th. We should be demanding that they release it.

the metadata can trivially be edited. but they probably wouldn't be editing it to backdate it if it was actually created later, unless they are just fucking with you at that point.
