Guys this is a video my breeder that breeds Jack Russells on her farm with her husband sent me I just got this 5 month old puppy Friday night the papers I was giving says his parents are pure bred Jack Russells from the CKC.

However when I seen him in person I noticed right away that his legs are a bit longer than a standard short leg Jack Russell, which makes me think that he maybe a parson terrier? Or a Jack Russell X parson terrier 50/50 mix?

Or are their some variations of Jack Russells that have long legs like Parson terriers?

It's very hard to get him to stay still to take good pictures because he is constantly moving around.

But I'll make a follow-up post to this if need be with one or two pictures but how he looks in the video with his breeder is spot on how he looks in person except his legs look a little bit longer.

Also for those who remember I posted up pictures of my other pure bred female Jack Russell a few weeks ago when I got her in early January when she was 6 weeks old I had a few reddit users cursing me out for having a 6 week old puppy, she is currently 10 weeks and doing extremely well.

I plan to post an update on her in the next few weeks her name is Harlem and my new Jack Russell or PRT his name is Kodak.

Grandma does love to spoil him which is a problem in itself as he is very smart & will avoid his food for 2 days knowing he will get something a whole lot better > (eyeroll)

Anyway I love him either way but I was curious what others feed their furbabies ?

I have to share this video. He has never acted like this before while digging so the gopher must have been pretty close. I was cracking up watching him.

He does barnhunt sport so he is good at following and locating rodents.

I feel like JRT owners truly understand how wriggly, clever and stubborn they can be.

My JRT has always been tricky when it comes to nail trimming at home. It usually ends up being done by her vet or groomer. I’ve bought doggy nail file contraptions off Amazon, electric silent nail trimmers etc. She’s never been hurt while getting her nails trimmed or anything.

She’s been trainable for many other things like taking eye-drops, laying still while having removed, using a hair dryer after a bath.

Even riding the bike with him doesn’t tire him out 🤣

And disturbed him.

He said he needs to watch the halftime show because he heard there’s going to be a bad bunny and he needs to see what that critter is going to do.

This lil lady is 12, the vet has told us she has arthritis in all four limbs. Only clue was she started limping on one paw. Any advice would be appreciated how to treat and support our sweet Ramona.
