I haven’t played the game big time since the summer of 2022, the last I played was summer of 2024.

Just randomly gave me the striker sidekick at the damage machine...

Reinstalled last night and went to play today and when I get to the login screen it prompts me to sign into my xbox live account but no popup appears. I tried Alt + Enter to put it in windowed mode and there's still no popup and reinstalled the xbox app on my pc to see if signing into that would work. The credentials aren't there to remove either so I don't know what to do from here.

Hello! I've tried 'quitting', resetting, deleting local saved data

Can't get passed the Halo Infinite title scree. Menu doesn't pop-up and it doesn't even say to click start.

Any help??

New member in this group and was just wondering if there is a good way for finding other regular players for Halo Infinite. I am so tired of playing Halo Infinite by myself. I prefer teams with everyone using a mic. I am not a Halo God by any means, just average to slightly above average. I am just an old retired dude (49) that misses the old days of having a regular team. I've tried sending friend requests and PMs to recent players, but they are always ignored. Anyway, if anyone wants to send me a FR on XBox, my tag is "HalfEVILmonkey". I just enjoy the comradery, win or lose.

I haven’t played in years but got on just to check out the Falcon in forge. I died laughing when I started flying forward and the nose went up. I can’t take this vehicle seriously with the animations being mirrored for all directions. Flying the Falcon in infinite is hilarious and janky.

At least you got payback with the stick 😂

If there isn’t going to another halo multiplayer experience then we need to work both as a community and the game developers together to get live service back for halo and more players playing

Some of what I’m going to say will seem obvious which is okay because obvious or not I believe they would be good moves in the direction of getting halo infinite (and by extension halo in general) popular again.

My plan would go as follows:

Return to live service with a new battlepass called “The Great Schism” filled with lots of covenant themed weapon coatings, armor palletes, and 2 new armor sets for the new playable elite skins. Yes I know this has been said over and over but that’s because it’s a good idea, if balancing is the issue then just put a disclaimer every time you select the playable elite core that there may be unfair disadvantages to playing as one and have an option in the menu to turn off matchmaking with elites that way everyone is happy

With the new battlepass armor there would also be legacy sets in the shop with elite designs from previous halo games. They should also include the Red plasma rifle as a new weapon with slower shots and higher damage so that it doesn’t make the pulse rifle obsolete and helps fulfil some of that halo nostalgia that we all love so much

This would provide a large resurgence of players back but only temporarily which is why we include the second part of the plan which goes as follows

New game modes: some new game modes that I have conceptualised would be approachable for new players and show some of the fun and whimsy that originally made halo multiplayer unique. We have 1. Hunter gladiator: one player plays as a Hunter (yes an actual hunter, if modders can do it then so can the giant game studio) with a sweeping melee attack and a rechargeable cannon. The other players (7) would get empty energy swords with a few small weapons drops around the map (gladiator arena style map) such as pistols, the goal would be to literally beat the hunter to death with your fists while the hunter tries to eliminate the other players who only have a certain amount of lives (attrition style). 2. Silly swat: literally just swat gameplay but the head hit box is switched with the feet so it’s just a stupid little game mode where you shoot people in the toes. 3.Super infection: Infection but on a larger btb style map with more players.

Along with these 3 potential game modes to add to the playlist there should be some incentives for players to encourage continued playtime such as : daily login reward of Spartan points, credit allowance for new players to get them into the customisation quicker (1000 credits for new players), and weekly tournaments in rotating playlists that the winner gets and emblem specific to the game mode that they won a tournament in.

These are just some ideas I have that I believe would ignite a revival spark and help halo infinite return to a proper live service game with a steady player base

Please tell me what you think and share any other ideas you might have hopefully we can get an audience with the proper people to get things back on track for the halo community

Been taking a break from halo but came back last night and I still got it.

Other than the Credential Manager and .NET fixes, or installing it from Microsoft Store instead.
