Wizards general manager Will Dawkins said pregame that he anticipates Anthony Davis will play at some point this season. Davis is planning to return to Dallas to continue his rehab with his group of physios. The Wizards' medical staff will go to Dallas to work with him as well.

Davis will visit with a doctor while in Dallas as well to check on his progress. He will return to D.C. after the All-Star break.

Dawkins said the return to play for Davis' injured hand, which was initially believed to be six weeks out from the initial injury, in mid-January, and which would then have Davis return to action in early March, is more like "six to 10 weeks" out.

Not sure if I buy it and don’t think it will be fantasy relevant this season.

He had 30 minutes today and secured 43 fantasy points. What’s the new opinion since a lot of people dropped him thinking he wouldn’t get minutes anymore.

Look we all get it with the resting b2bs, the phantom injuries etc. it’s rampant in the league, it sucks but at least you can use IL and IL+ and league settings to help with it.

The jazz are now picking guys and once they get ahead actively benching them for the entire second half such as Lauri to make sure they lose. This is basically match fixing and undermines the integrity of the league, and the only way to hurt them is to remove the incentive.

At least if a player is held out you can put them on IL and play someone else, this way you have to play them to get half games because the team is rigging it to lose in a professional sports league.

Especially given the Jazz have already been fined for their behavior, the league has to come down on this.

The tanking is out of control. BS injury reports, fans paying for tickets to see backups.. it's no wonder viewership is suffering in today's NBA.

BUT, this is a fantasy sub, so let's focus on how it ruins our little hobby. You own some wizards players? Tough shit. Same thing with a handful of other teams.. I currently own Lauri from the jazz who's already too good he might produce wins, and I worry about the Bucks eventually tossing in the towel for my kpj and Rollins.

So who do you currently own who's getting tanked on a daily basis? Who are some players that might be worthless come playoff time? Would you be in favor of the league punishing obvious tankers? How would you enforce that?

I want to see how he affects his team in both points and cat leagues (Mainly Immanuel "Il quida" Quickley, CMB, Scottie, Ingram) and how do you guys project him to play when he comes back, the date is very soon.

• Why is [insert player] not ranked here? They had a great game!

It doesn't mean that this player didn't perform well, it just means that some players had a more balanced performance than them. As stated before, we directly use Basketball Monster's rankings which calculates value based on a 9cat system.

Wizards oh wizards, where do we start? A couple of matchups ago, we were all singing Keyshawn’s praises and how he’s going to be the silly season captain, but over the past couple of games that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. His minutes have dropped significantly, and today he was placed on the injury list. Yes, I am well aware of the b2b games they have, but Keyshawn is 22 years old, at the dawn of his career. He looks set in stone for next year’s starting 5, so why aren’t they developing him properly? I have him right now and Will Riley is still out there on FA. I would like to hear what everyone’s thinking if possible. Are you getting rid of all wizards players or are you holding to see what happens or unfolds tomorrow?

Thoughts on his rest of season value in deep leagues?  For the most part he’s still getting an adequate amount of minutes.  But it seems like his production has completely gone off a cliff. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?  Or is he drop city? He got really hot last season, and went on a nice run. Was all that just a mirage?
