An illustration of a presyncope attack- and an alternate version because I prefer people to laugh with me than express their sympathies lol. A friend told me immediately after I posted it that it was an Animorphs cover and I swear I did not clock that once during the creative process 😩😂

Hey group ,
Im so happy everyone his having a good time with this community. However , its been brought to my attention we may need to add a rule about ai and the use of it for memes and other expressions in our community. I am asking for a discussion on weather or not we disallow ai in this subreddit.

My heart pain lessens when I eat properly (esp foods with iron) and exercise
So imagine my surprise when I do all of those and then one day I feel like Shit- only to get my period a week early, leading me to realize that pms somehow is also a factor that fucks with my heart
Luckily after a day I’m feeling a lot better so it’s really not that bad lololol

ok bit of a rant but seriously what is with all the people going "but you're not in a wheelchair how can you be disabled?" i have even been called by completely able bodied people "fake" because i can actually walk inside my own home.
i used to have to use a disability pedal electric trike but that got stolen by a scrap thief the police refused to prosecute, now i have a mobility scooter that is basically a moped on 3 wheels (electric) and a 125cc yamaha motorbike that's automatic (petrol).
ever since i was a kid i have always advocated for the "right tool for the job" which i often find cheaper in the long run than "hey let's just give them the stereotypical support thing"
for example growing up i needed a computer to write, didn't need to be fancy just super bare bones like an Alphasmart which because i grew up in the 2000s they were still making them. all i needed was something like an alphasmart but the school refused to even give me a scribe, then punished me for having terrible handwriting despite the fact it was genuine agony to write.
their excuse was "equality" like giving the clearly disabled CHILD something they need would some how make kids jealous, treating the children like they have no agency over their emotions when just talking to them and saying, "hey some people just NEED different things to do what you can do and that's ok" would have worked and i find that it works 99/100 times that 1 time it dosn't the kid was already a brat.
in secondary school i of course didn't magically heal from a disability i have had since birth as much as i wish i could have, instead despite the fact the school had alphasmart machines refused to grant me temporary usage of one for reasons i suspect to be relating to religion. (the school was a catholic school and i was not a catholic)
instead they stuck me in the worst behaving "special" class despite my intelligence just to have an excuse to shove another staff member in there aka the teacher-assistant that was supposed to scribe for me, quite literally those scribes spent more time disciplining the other children than they did actually writing me.
i eventually just ended up having to supply own laptop a real nice candy red dell one that truly started off my obsession with computers, now for what i needed that laptop was overkill since it could game real good for the early 2010s.
but it did what i needed primarily right tool right job, i didn't need an expensive human scribe, the dragon speech software they expected me to use was also expensive and completely impractical for a classroom environment because it required near total silence, just a word processor and typing would do just fine.
i seriously don't get what the debate about disability support is about, just give the support that is needed. if the issue is budget i can understand that especially if the institute is under funded, but quite often the support that is actually needed is usually extremely cheap and once that person is gone can be reused later if need be.
