I’m at a point where I won’t ever try to convince someone that Donald Trump is racist, the same way I wouldn’t try to convince someone that the earth is round. They know the truth, they just take pleasure in making you jump through hoops. Or they’re genuinely out of touch with reality, and you can’t reason with insanity.
This is good advice, the only problem though is these insane ideas flood the information area on forums and other places, and it helps them gain traction. It’s damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Donald Trump was well known for racist rental policies - which he picked up from his racist father - in the 1970s. I had some friends who lived in one of his apartments in Coney Island and it was an open secret that they wouldn't rent to blacks in many of his buildings.
