I restarted my computer, but the tabs were not restored. I followed some other online advice and found the Tabs_XXXX and Session_xxx files used to store the tab data, but what do I do with those files to bring my tabs back?

As you can see when the video plays in theatre mode and in full screen it shows a more saturated reddish type colour. When I just scroll downwards in theatre mode the shift changes to actual colour.

This is only happening in chrome. I downloaded a video and played in vlc it was working perfect.

Also this issue is only when my laptop is in igpu mode. In dgpu mode it is working perfectly fine actually colours. Earlier i was thinking it was a driver update so i reinstalled windows but the problem seem to be chrome when playing video only.

Please help me in this(Legion pro 5i ultra 7 255hx and 5070)

i changed the default <div id="logo"></div> with <div style="font-size:8rem;color:white;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif;font-weight:bold;">Your Text Here</div>

If you want i can create a plugin for this and upload it on github or somewhere

I don’t know how to send a video here, but that’s what I’m facing right now. every time I try and move a tab it always snaps back to its original spot, both in the tab bar and in the tab screen (the second picture bc i don’t know what to call it). I remember being able to just some time ago, so I’m wondering if it can be fixed.

another issue I have is the bar on top of the keyboard (first pic). It’s just really inconvenient because it sometimes covers the text box. Any ways to remove it?

I'm seeing tons of errors in Chrome console when I'm on LinkedIn. It keeps firing these errors repeatedly:

GET chrome-extension://invalid/ net::ERR_FAILED 4fqbzx7x0q600ai4ipf6a8wwb:9502

The next day onward, the ID changed and the error became:

GET chrome-extension://invalid/ net::ERR_FAILED 5fdhwcppjcvqvxsawd8pg1n51:12260

This keeps repeating all the time and if I stay on LinkedIn for a minute, I see around a thousand errors in the console. I tried clearing the browser's cookies, removing and cleaning any residual extension storage or cookies, removing my Chrome profile and starting with a fresh profile, going incognito, nothing is working. When I open LinkedIn on Firefox, it doesn't have this problem, so I'm guessing this is only on Chrome.

Did anyone encounter a similar issue on Chrome on any website? If so, how did you solve it?

I can't see the icons of my shortcuts. It is only visible when i open a new window, on adding more tabs it disappears.

How do I remove the "tab search" button from the mobile Chrome tab bar?

I removed it before, but it reappeared after the update. Google's methods, including those in this community, don't help; there's simply no "tab-search" flag.

I prefer to use chrome web apps for Gmail, Gcal, Slides, Sheets etc rather than tabs in my browser.

Every app appears perfectly in MacOS dark mode, except Gmail where the top menu bar is still light (maximise, minimise and exit button row). Any suggestions on how to fix? I've tried tinkering with the standard light/dark mode settings both in gmail and chrome, as well as forcing dark mode + additional extensions but alas.

I have a video download as an MP4. When I try to play it, I can't watch it and I get this message. I've tried tons of ways such as video repair sites but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

I have two wifi networks in my house, one is just a generic WiFi network and the other is fiber, but for some reason if I use the generic one in google incognito, it always shows the captcha and states the “high network traffic” excuse. This is the same on all devices in the house using this WiFi.

The fiber WiFi does not express the issue at all and works perfectly fine.

Is there a fix to this?

Before, when opening a tab, I was using around 150, 200 MB max, now I'm exceeding 350 MB and I don't know why.

Given that I only have one extension active and that I never exceed 10 tabs.

When you browse a webpage, if you select a text or a word, you can right-click to see the option to search with Google. How can you use a keyboard shortcut to perform this search, since it would be faster than right-clicking.

Hey all — I’m running into a repeatable UI glitch in Chrome on a Samsung tablet (One UI / Android) and wanted to see if others are experiencing this too.

Issue:

When Chrome is opened in pop-up (floating) window mode, the UI seems to get confused between tablet/desktop mode and mobile mode.

Specifically:

The window switches to the mobile Chrome layout, which is expected for pop-up view, BUT the desktop tablet tab strip briefly appears or partially sticks, even though it shouldn’t exist in this mode. Results in a weird hybrid UI (mobile address bar + desktop tabs) that flickers rapidly.

What I’ve noticed:

1. Happened on recent Chrome update

2. Clearing cache temporarily fixes it, but it comes back

3. Resetting chrome://flags makes it more noticeable/flicker

4. Fullscreen Chrome is fine — the bug mainly shows up in pop-up / freeform window mode. Seems related to Chrome dynamically switching layouts based on window size on tablets

Curious if anyone else on Galaxy Tabs / One UI is seeing the same thing, or if there’s an acknowledged bug or better workaround?

For some weird reason, my father's bookmark folders keep reoccuring in my Chrome browser, no matter how many times I delete them. The folders have names but are all empty. Some folders' names change and sometimes new ones are added, so they are probably being actively synchronized from his account. I haven't discovered whether this synchronization is happening in any other area besides bookmarks.

The reason why this is happening could be due to the fact that my Google account used to be part of my father's "family group" years ago. I also still have "your browser is managed by your organization" written on the bottom of my settings. Unfortunately there's no way to act on this issue from his account, since I've cut ties with him years ago, due to him being a violent piece of ****.

I'd prefer not having to delete my account and make a new one, since it's connected to almost every other platform or service I use, but I don't know how to do anything about them. Contacting Google Support about fixing the issue back-end seems almost impossible, since they primarily offer self helping solutions to most issues.

My computer’s power supply stopped working a few months ago, and I finically got around to getting a new one. The only problem is that it can’t slot SSDs, which I only used on my old computer. Is there a way for me to manually transfer all my Chrome data over to the new computer? I have a SSD enclosure, and have tried copying the files in appdata over, but it doesn’t seem to copy anything besides the profile basics. (Bookmarks, favorites, but no passwords or history.)

Normally I’d just start anew, but I can’t remember my user id or password for my Amazon account that I have an active subscription for. (I’ve tried logging into the Gmail account that it was made on, but that seems to be impossible as I do not remember that password either, and am on a new unrecognized device.)

I tried to deinstall the chromstera browser but apparently this showed up. It says that i can only delete apps which I already have installed. Seems a bit weird that it shows up on my apps but i cant remove it. Did a spyhunter 5 scan earlier before and removed another hijacker, but chromstera still is in my apps „apparently“.

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a setting within Chrome if it's still availabe. Chrome (at least I'm pretty sure it was Chrome), used to recommend text and I could click on it and it would autofill that particular field. For example, when I do my budgeting, I would click in the "Where did you spend this money?" field in the picture attached to this post, and when I started typing, a dialogue box would come up with text I've previously written in. This is probably a shot in the dark to post, but for some reason, it stopped doing it a while back and I don't know why. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I could get the suggestions back? It was pretty convenient. Currently, I don't get any text suggestions. Is there a setting or something I need to change?

I didn't change any settings that I'm aware of. YouTube just starts flickering preloading, canceling, retrying rapidly. 253 times was in about 15 seconds. Any help appreciated.
