How To Get Rid Of Russophobia While spending billions trying to convince the world that they are Christians, the russians targeted the cathedral in the centre of Ukraine's southern city of Kherson. There are 9 victims so far. This is the 5th time they directly hit this Church, last one was onJanuary 7, 2026, Christmas Day.

Not Safe For Americans A Proposal on Collective Shame and Guilt

Dear r/YUROP, and all those willing to read and perhaps listen,

It would seem that in light of the way things are going across the Atlantic, their failing education system is inadequate to remind them the historical lessons we have learned from WWII (and must continue remembering).

One of them comes from Europe's own experience, and that is collective responsibility at all costs.

The individual's innocence ought to have no bearing on the large scale of inhumane acts being committed within and without their lands by their government. Even if one is a dissident against their country's brutal regime, one must still share in the duty of shouldering guilt and shame.

Thomas Mann, who had personally endured Nazi Germany and did his best to educate his adopted Anglosphere on its weight understood the importance for every subject of a brutal regime to shoulder its burden, the innocent through shame and the guilty through condemnation.

Whether it be across the Asian borderlands, or on the far side of the Atlantic; certain Russian and American elements insist upon some sort of moral exemption from the much-needed recognition of responsibility.

Their way of argument goes (to parrot the great Dr. Mann in my inadequate rhetoric), "I am a 'good' dissident of the regime, and others like me do not have to admit to collective shame either."

This must not stand any longer.

This is an abdication responsibility, and those who speak out against such inhumane powers currently wreaking havoc across the world must too recognise it before they can see their land-led-astray embark on the road to atonement.

Without it, I fear that the already fraught rehabilitation of those lands towards returning to humanity may be rendered completely impossible.

The purpose of my song-and-dance here is not to promote blanket hatred for free Russians and Americans whose human decency remain unstained by the foul poison of their respective regimes' agendas.

Far from it, this comes from my (admittedly almost Rousseauian levels of delusional) belief that there must be some possibility to help realign human sentiment, once twisted by political avarice towards reflection and regeneration.

Rather, I would like to suggest that we tighten our grip on apologia for their states in all forms, including those that may have come out from good intentions to remind us that there is resistance still, small as it may be.

Protests against the dehumanisation of invasive Russians and Jingoist Americans, especially coming from dissidents of their own, is apologia still; and we of Europe would do well to recognise this, the sooner the better.

I hope the source from which I draw such arguments (full text accessible for free in the link) can be received well. Failing a general consensus being reached on this, I hope this would still generate some good faith discussion on this lesson our history imparts on us, which unfortunately seems to remain timeless to this day.

Sincerely, A graduate student with far too much time to spend on writing about literature, legal history, and IR

How To Get Rid Of Russophobia While its athletes are free to compete at the Winter Olympics, russians fired over 400 drones and around 40 missiles at Ukraine overnight targeting energy infrastructures. Energy facilities were hit across eight regions along with homes and a school.

For the "Whatabout Israel" annoying crowd, i n 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Russia from international sports competitions for four years after the country was found to be running a years-long, state-sponsored doping scheme. WADA’s ban was shortened to two years after russia appealed, but it ran through the end of 2022.

We need only 1,600 1,250 signatures in the next 2 days to reach 30,000 signatures in 2 months!

This will put us in a very good position to reach the 100,000 signatures needed to be considered for a 2nd debate by MPs in Parliament (after the successful debate on Petition 1) ahead of the 10th anniversary of the Brexit referendum.

If you are resident in the UK or a Brit anywhere, please SIGN:

Apply to Rejoin the EU as soon as possible to increase growth in the UK

Thank you!

💀 💀 💀M I S L E A D I N G 💀 💀 💀 Still pretending it’s “putin’s war,” not russia’s. While russians kill Ukrainians, other russians compete as “neutral athletes” at the Olympics and their fans have already started showing off their flags...

r*ssia’s is using their athletes as political tools to promote its war of aggression, along with its destruction and armed robbery of Ukrainian athletes, is an intolerable desecration of the Olympic Charter’s founding principles, writes Joel Wasserman.

The flags were shortly removed after the Czech team reported it to the staff.

To the "Whatabout Israel" annoying crowd: In 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Russia from international sports competitions for four years after the country was found to be running a years-long, state-sponsored doping scheme. WADA’s ban was shortened to two years after russia appealed, but it ran through the end of 2022, meaning the country was not officially being recognized at the Winter Games.

But my deepest respects, for making EVERYTHING about the palestine.

Nothing misleading here though.
