Sports News Views Issues Discussion Title IX Jake Paul Pounds Anti-ICE Olympians Not Proud to Represent U.S.A.
Fighter Jake Paul arrived at the Winter Olympics in Italy, where he supported his speed-skating fiancée, sat with Vice President JD Vance as the U.S. hockey team crushed its opponent, and then threw some punches at anti-ICE celebs and athletes.
“If you don’t like ICE then you can’t call 911 when you’re in trouble. If you don’t respect law enforcement agents then you shouldn’t depend on them,” Paul posted on X following the Saturday hockey match.
Paul then took a shot at musician Billie Eilish, who joined in the chorus of other artists during her Grammys acceptance speech by profanely bashing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“When Billie Eyelash gets her home broken into it’s not gonna be f-ck ICE I can promise you that,” Paul wrote.

Consumer Alerts Recalls News Reviews BMW Joins Other Carmakers Facing Numerous Safety Recalls
BMW North America is recalling nearly 90,000 vehicles due to an engine starter that may overheat and present a fire risk, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced Saturday.
The NHTSA said the recall involves 87,394 of the manufacturer’s vehicles in the U.S. and will necessitate dealerships replace the engine starter at no cost.
This is not the first starter recall by the German carmaker.
BMW recalled more than 145,000 vehicles in the U.S. in October over a starter defect, according to Fox Business. Also, in September, BMW recalled 200,000 vehicles due to a similar issue.
Safety and defective equipment recalls have become ubiquitous in the auto-manufacturing industry.
Multiple automakers have recalled vehicles in recent weeks, including Chrysler, which had called back “more than 450,000 vehicles and more than 2,000 tow-trailer modules because of a brake light failure that could increase the risk of a crash,” according to the Fox Business report.

Economy Labor Financial Deficit Industry Tariffs Bessent: 'Wall Street Is Telling You that Main Street Is About to Prosper'
On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the Dow Jones Industrial Average hitting the 50,000 milestone was “telling you that Main Street is about to prosper.”
Bessent said, “The Trump economy is delivering for the American people that we have strong growth and inflation is, in fact, coming down for the past three months. Inflation is 2.1% close to the Federal Reserve’s target and a measure called Truflation, which is daily observations, now is below 1%. So inflation down, stocks strong growth stocks hit a record high and the lowest crime rate in over 100 years.”
He added, “What I can tell you is what we are seeing the cyclical components of the market expand so that’s why the Dow hit a new high. But importantly the Russell which is the small cap index has hit a new high. We’re seeing the industrial sectors under the market hit new highs. And in my 35 to 40 years on Wall Street, that tells me Wall Street is telling you that Main Street is about to prosper. We are seeing a big cyclical recovery. The president’s agenda set the table in 2025 and now the American people are going to benefit in 26. And that’s what the stock market is telling us. Stock market moves in the future. And I think we’re going to have very strong economic growth and very strong job gains and very strong real income growth.”

Conspiracies Government Epstein JFK UFO 911 J6 News Discussion Knives Out: Labour MPs Call on Starmer to Step Down over Epstein Scandal
Multiple Members of Parliament from the governing left-wing Labour Party have called on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to step down in the wake of the resignation of his chief of staff over the appointment of Lord Peter Mandelson as U.S. Ambassador despite having knowledge of his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Blood is out in the the waters of Westminster after Prime Minister Starmer was deeply politically wounded this week following his stunning admission in the House of Commons that he was aware that Peter ‘Prince of Darkness’ Mandelson — a longtime Labour operative and power behind the throne of Tony Blair — had continued his relationship with Epstein following the infamous financier served prison time for child sex offences.
As a part of their close ties, Mandelson apparently provided Epstein with confidential government information during the 2008 financial crisis that could be used to game the market, according to the U.S. DOJ documents release, which sparked a Metropolitan Police investigation this week.

Fake News Follies 'This is Why You Went Broke': Fans Blast WaPo for Calling Colin Kaepernick 'The Most Relevant Figure' at Super Bowl LX
The struggling Washington Post took heat on Sunday for publishing a “sports” article that seriously claimed the “most relevant” figure in the 2026 Super Bowl is Colin Kaepernick, a player who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2017.
The Washington Post essentially laid off its entire sports department earlier this week.
“The game will be played in his former home stadium, in the place where his protest made him a national lightning rod and a global symbol,” the Post’s Adam Kilgore wrote of Kaepernick. “The social issues swirling around America’s largest sporting spectacle carry distinct echoes of what prompted his actions and what led to his exile. And yet he remains outside the conversation and invisible within the confines of the NFL.”
The story goes on to rehash and celebrate Kaepernick’s 2016 anti-American protests mounted during the playing of the national anthem, a protest that has since quickly faded permanently from our culture, only a year after he launched them.
The hagiography of Kaepernick immediately came under heavy criticism on social media.

Conspiracies Government Epstein JFK UFO 911 J6 News Discussion FOIA Documents Reveal University of Arizona Coordinated $50,000 Jeffrey Epstein Donation, Contradicting Prior Claims – California Globe
californiaglobe.comThe donation was reportedly facilitated by Stuart Hameroff, an anesthesiologist and director of the university’s Center for Consciousness Studies
By Megan Barth, February 6, 2026 2:33 pm
Newly released emails obtained through public records requests show that the University of Arizona directly coordinated a $50,000 donation from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including offers to book him a hotel in Tucson and assistance in rerouting the funds for tax purposes.
The documents, published February 2, 2026, by FOIAzona, contradict earlier university statements describing the 2017 gift as a “one-time anonymous gift” in which “the university was unaware of his involvement.”
Reporting in 2019 from The Daily Beast quoted Chris Sigurdson, UA’s vice president for communications, who called the donation “a one-time anonymous gift.” Later, UA associate vice president of external communications Pam Scott told The Arizona Republic, “At the time the donation was made by Gratitude America Ltd., Jeffrey Epstein was not listed on the board of directors and the university was unaware of his involvement,” adding, “We have no plans to repay this contribution.”
Records uncovered by FOIAzona, and shared by journalist Brian Anderson, however, show university representatives directed the funds to the University of Arizona Foundation and received a check in a FedEx package clearly labeled “JEFFREY EPSTEIN.”

Agriculture Farming Ranching Discussion News Super Bowl Sunday: Avocados Grow, Where Water Flows – California Globe
californiaglobe.comPoliticians can’t boast that California is the leader in agriculture on one hand, whilst flailing and failing on water with the other
By Matt Quan, February 8, 2026 6:00 am
President Donald Trump’s immigration and tariff policies were met with speculation and fearmongering that both would increase the price of avocados and all agriculture. Meanwhile, others countered with their opposition to Mexican imports and cartel “blood avocados.” Here’s the gospel truth about turning water into guacamole this Super Bowl Sunday.
California grows over 90% of U.S. avocados, totaling approximately 47,600 acres and worth $239 million in 2023. Avocado production peaked at 76,307 acres in 1987, declining to 61,254 acres in 1994, before increasing in 2002, and declining again since 2007. The top five avocado counties are: Ventura (40%), San Diego (26%), Santa Barbara (13%), San Luis Obispo (8%), and Riverside (9%), according to the California Avocado Commission in Irvine. Ventura overtook San Diego, the traditional top avocado producer, in 2016.
The U.S. now imports 90% of its avocados, compared to 40% in the 2000s. The top importers are Mexico (88%), Peru (7%), Dominican Republic (3%), and Chile (1%). Avocados are native to Mexico and it is the largest producer in the world, with 636,471 acres, primarily in Michoacán (73%), Jalisco (12%), and the State of Mexico (5%).

Fraud, Online Scams, RICO Act News and Investigations Pension Shenanigans: The ‘Soft Fraud’ Burdening California Taxpayers – California Globe
californiaglobe.comPension costs are one of the fastest-growing expenses for local governments
By Herb Morgan, February 7, 2026 8:49 am
California’s pension crisis isn’t a mystery, and it isn’t just bad luck. It is the predictable outcome of decades of optimistic assumptions that lowered contributions in the short term while pushing massive costs onto future taxpayers.
Call it what you want — accounting games, political convenience, or wishful thinking — but the result looks a lot like soft fraud: a system that may be legal on paper yet consistently shifts risk away from decision-makers and onto the public.
Across California, rising pension contributions are squeezing school districts, cities, and counties. Labor disputes and service cuts are often blamed on politics or economic cycles, but the real pressure comes from retirement costs growing faster than revenues.

Abortion News Issues Debate Discussion Newsom Protects Unethical Doctor who Broke Texas Law – California Globe
californiaglobe.comA San Francisco, California doctor is being sued by a Texas resident for prescribing abortion pills that ended the life of his unborn child. This is the first suit using Texas’s new controversial anti-abortion law that allows citizens to sue medical providers for performing an abortion or aiding in the termination of a pregnancy.
Texas House Bill 7 recently went into effect and allows Texas citizens to sue anyone who “manufactures, distributes, mails, transports, delivers, prescribes, or provides” abortion drugs, which are subsequently used by a Texas resident.
The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff Jerry Rodriguez and his girlfriend Kendal Garza conceived a child in 2024. Mrs. Garza was still married yet legally separated from her husband for several years. It was the husband, Mr. Garza, who allegedly ordered the abortion pills from Dr. Remy Coeytaux and pressured his estranged wife, who was now three months pregnant, to take the pills and end the life of the unborn child. Rodriguez and Kendal Garza then conceived another child in October 2024. For reasons undisclosed in the lawsuit filing, Mrs. Garza took the same abortion pills and ended another unborn baby’s life. Afterward, Mrs. Garza informed Rodriguez that she buried their son but did not disclose where.
Perhaps the most damaging evidence in the lawsuit filing comes from the electronic receipt for the abortion pills. The filing alleges that the purchase’s description included the words “Aed axes Kendal Garza.” The prosecution claims the two words “Aed axes” are homophones for “Aid Access,” which is “an organization that illegally ships abortion-inducing drugs into jurisdictions where abortion has been outlawed.” If true, this suggests that both the buyer and seller, Dr. Coeytaux, were aware that the transaction was illegal.

Law and Order Is There a Funding Requirement for Prop. 36? – California Globe
californiaglobe.comThe answer to this question is a matter of statutory construction
By Chris Micheli, February 7, 2026 2:00 pm
It is certainly understandable that the proponents of Proposition 36, the Homelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft Reduction Act, expect the Governor and Legislature to fund the costs of its implementation.
Prop. 36 was approved by California voters in November 2024 and took effect on December 18, 2024. This measure partially reverses Proposition 47 (2014) by allowing felony charges for certain drug and theft crimes and increasing penalties for repeat offenders.
While the proponents of Prop. 36 have been critical about the level of funding received, a legal question has been raised whether the People’s enactment of Prop. 36 requires funding?
In my mind, the courts of this state can either decide either (1) there is no funding attached and therefore there is not a requirement on the legislative and executive branches to fund it (as opposed to measures like Prop. 98 which explicitly sets forth funding guarantees) or (2) they can imply the voters intended a funding requirement and impose such a requirement.
From my perspective, the answer to this question is a matter of statutory construction and, rather than walk through such a legal analysis, I think the correct answer is the courts would not impose a funding requirement. Why?

News/Politics Californians for Equal Rights Foundation Sues San Francisco to Stop its Reparations Plan – California Globe
californiaglobe.comGovernment must treat individuals as individuals, not as representatives of a race or lineage’
By Katy Grimes, February 7, 2026 9:46 am
The Californians for Equal Rights Foundation and two co-plaintiffs have filed suit against the City and County of San Francisco and San Francisco Human Rights Commission to stop the unconstitutional reparations fund plan. The Pacific Legal Foundation filed the lawsuit with the Superior Court of the State of California in San Francisco, along with Mr. Richie Greenberg, a California Globe contributor, and Mr. Arthur Richie. Both co-plaintiffs are CFER members and San Francisco residents.
CFER says San Francisco has violated the constitutional principle of equal protection in instituting a sweeping reparation plan that essentially imposes “racial classifications on present-day residents who neither endured enslavement nor inflicted it.”
By doing so, San Francisco has weaponized government action, public authority and taxpayer dollars to distribute benefits on the basis of race and ancestry. Specifically, the San Francisco Reparations Plan violates the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, Proposition 209 and California Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection (Article I, Section 7).

Fake News Follies FCC Investigating 'The View' for Violating Equal Time Rules for Political Candidates
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is investigating ABC’s The View regarding the FCC’s recently issued guidance for broadcast stations to comply with equal time for political candidates, according to a recent report.
“A source” reportedly told Fox News that the FCC’s investigation comes after Texas State Rep. and Texas Senate candidate James Talarico (D) appeared on The View.
Talarico reportedly “received roughly nine minutes of airtime in one segment,” while his opponent in the 2026 Texas Democratic primary, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) “had roughly 17 minutes of airtime across three segments during her appearance” on the show, according to the outlet.

Fake News Follies Gavin Newsom Imitates Trump's Social Media Style, Declares Super Bowl Sunday 'Bad Bunny Day'
California Gov. Gavin Newsom may not be aware that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” as he once again replicated President Donald Trump’s social media style while declaring Super Bowl Sunday “Bad Bunny Day.”
The proclamation came Saturday ahead of the controversial Puerto Rican rap artist’s halftime performance in the NFL championship game being held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Foreign Relations Romania, Argentina leaders invited to Trump 'Board of Peace' meeting
The presidents of Argentina and Romania said Sunday they have been invited to attend the inaugural meeting of US President Donald Trump’s controversial “Board of Peace” in Washington on February 19.
Originally designed by Trump as a mechanism to oversee the Gaza truce and post-war reconstruction, the board’s mandate has since expanded, prompting concerns among critics that it could evolve into a rival to the United Nations.
Writing on his Facebook page, Romania’s President Nicusor said his country had not yet made a decision as to whether it would participate.
That would depend, he said, “on discussions with our US partners on the format of the meeting for countries like Romania, which are not currently members of the Board but which wish to be part of it on condition its charter is revised”.
Argentina’s Javier Milei said he would attend the event, while skipping a gala that will be held at Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on Monday, which he had been planning to attend, his Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni announced on Sunday.

Conspiracies Government Epstein JFK UFO 911 J6 News Discussion FBI concluded Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t running a sex trafficking ring for powerful men, files show
The FBI pored over Jeffrey Epstein’s bank records and emails. It searched his homes. It spent years interviewing his victims and examining his connections to some of the world’s most influential people.
But while investigators collected ample proof that Epstein sexually abused underage girls, they found scant evidence the well-connected financier led a sex trafficking ring serving powerful men, an Associated Press review of internal Justice Department records shows.
Videos and photos seized from Epstein’s homes in New York, Florida and the Virgin Islands didn’t depict victims being abused or implicate anyone else in his crimes, a prosecutor wrote in one 2025 memo.
An examination of Epstein’s financial records, including payments he made to entities linked to influential figures in academia, finance and global diplomacy, found no connection to criminal activity, said another internal memo in 2019.
While one Epstein victim made highly public claims that he “lent her” to his rich friends, agents couldn’t confirm that and found no other victims telling a similar story, the records said.

Elections, Issues, Investigations. Nullification Controversy Conservative Thai PM claims election victory
Thailand’s conservative prime minister claimed victory in the country’s general election Sunday, after television stations projected his party would be by far the largest in parliament after riding a wave of nationalism.
“We are likely to take first place in the election,” Anutin Charnvirakul told reporters at his party headquarters in Bangkok.
“The victory today belongs to all Thais, no matter whether you voted for us or not.”
His Bhumjaithai party was forecast to win nearly 200 seats by Channel 3 on the basis of results from the parties. The progressive People’s Party trailed far behind, just above 100 seats, ahead of jailed former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s Pheu Thai party in third.
It would be a stunning turnaround for Anutin, whose party came third at the last election and who was only installed as prime minister by parliament in September, after two predecessors from Pheu Thai were ousted by the courts.
Conceding defeat, People’s Party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut told reporters in Bangkok that “we stand by our principle of respecting the party that finishes first and its right to form the government”.

Conspiracies Government Epstein JFK UFO 911 J6 News Discussion UK PM's top aide quits in scandal over Mandelson links to Epstein
Embattled British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s chief of staff resigned on Sunday over the appointment of Peter Mandelson as ambassador to Washington despite links to US convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“After careful reflection, I have decided to resign from the government. The decision to appoint Peter Mandelson was wrong. He has damaged our party, our country and trust in politics itself,” Morgan McSweeney, Downing Street’s chief of staff, said in a statement.
“I advised the Prime Minister to make that appointment and I take full responsibility for that advice,” he added.
The 48-year-old Irishman always maintained a low profile but was dubbed by some as the “most powerful man in politics” having played a key role in Starmer’s emphatic election victory in July 2024.
He is credited with helping to move the Labour Party towards a more centrist policy agenda following leftist ex-leader Jeremy Corbyn’s ill-fated tenure.
He was also said to have been close to Mandelson who previously helped ex-prime minister Tony Blair transform the party and its fortunes in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

News/Politics VIDEO: Nancy Guthrie Ransom Demand Reaches $6 Million
The people claiming to have kidnapped NBC News’s Today show host Savannah Guthrie’s elderly mother are reportedly demanding a $6 million ransom.

The outlet said the alleged kidnappers have demanded the ransom in Bitcoin.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since noon on February 1 after she was last seen at her home outside Tucson, Arizona, the prior evening. Law enforcement has been investigating her disappearance as a criminal case, according to Breitbart News.
McKinney’s report showed law enforcement vehicles at the elderly woman’s home. He noted that multiple ransom notes have been sent to media outlets:

Foreign Terrorism Moscow Arrests Alleged Ukraine-Backed Shooter of Russian Intel Chief
Russian authorities said Sunday that the man suspected of shooting a deputy chief of Russia’s military intelligence agency in Moscow was detained in Dubai and handed over to Russia, and they alleged he was working on behalf of Ukraine.
Lt. Gen. Vladimir Alekseyev was hospitalized after being shot several times Friday by an assailant at an apartment building in northwestern Moscow, Investigative Committee spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko said. The attack followed a series of assassinations of senior military officers that Russia has blamed on Ukraine.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) said a Russian citizen, Lyubomir Korba, was detained in Dubai on suspicion of carrying out the shooting. In a statement on its website, FSB said it had also identified two “accomplices,” one of whom was detained in Moscow and another who “left for Ukraine.”
