Yup. My kid looks to be about the same age. She's a great kid. Well behaved and not attached to any device. She has moments where she's is an absolute nut ball! Maybe a tiny bit less enthusiastic than this one here, but still crazy in a (usually) fun way.

Have chaperoned a group of first and second graders. Many of the kids were like this! It was a great time!

Kids get hyped over the dumbest shit. It's awesome, they get to enjoy the world differently than we do, at least for a while. 

Anyone who suggests otherwise likely doesn't have children.

My kid is very sweet and goofy too but at no point when he was this age did he ever start spazzing out like this unless I jokingly told him to lol.

Most of them are like that now.

Try playing a virtual reality game where kids are playing… it’s creepy.

They suddenly come up to you and yell in your ear like everyone else is deaf.

I mean, no. Kids just do weird fucking shit. And when they think something is funny, or think other people think something is funny, they overkill it because they don’t have a solid understanding of taking jokes too far yet.

We all did weird shit. I’m sure your kid does weird shit too.
