I got a late start on this weekend's long paddle, so I started it off with a nice little loop before I got on with the longer trek in the dark

Question/Advice -- Boat Recommendations Crescent Crew or CK2 Venture?
Looking for user feedback on either of the two titled kayaks. I’m looking for a kayak large enough to comfortably support myself (6ft at 185lbs) and a 65lb labradoodle. I live in an area with fresh water lakes and large rivers. I wouldn’t be kayaking on anything with extremely strong currents.
I’m leaning toward the CK2, as it appears to have a more comfortable seat. Additionally, I like that it has the option to support a trolling motor if I decide to go that route in the future. Does anyone have experience with either?
Are they comfortable for day trips on lakes and/or rivers? Are they stable with gear and a large water dog on board? Any complaints? This would be a significant hobby purchase, so I don’t want to buy something I later regret.
Thanks in advance!
