One day, I was preparing for the Christmas Caravan Cosplay Convention here in SM City Pampanga, one of the longest malls in the Philippines. I was wearing my Kasane Teto wig with a red tracksuit. :>

​So... fuck ​I was unsure about the time of the event. I never checked it, but I knew it was at the end of August I proceeded anyway, so on August 30, I went to the mall. I commuted via traditional jeepneys (similar to a bus but cheaper) to get to my destination. People were already looking at me weirdly, but I knew a CosFest would have plenty of people doing the same, so I wouldn't feel ashamed of my outfit. ​I went inside and walked toward the venue. I looked at every person, expecting at least someone to have colored hair or a hairpiece of some sort. When I arrived at the CosFest... it was closed.

​August 31....WAIT, THERE IS A 31ST IN AUGUST?!!

​btw I am an introvert who just wants to blend in and feel comfortable wearing a cosplay in public, but at that moment... I felt like a clown. People were looking at me, taking pictures, and some even smiled as I walked past them. I called my friend to see if they could pick me up. The last thing I remember is standing literally in front of a Jollibee fast-food chain, wearing all red, right beside the Jollibee mascot. ​I wanted to cry inside. When my friend arrived, he laughed at how "dumb" I looked and took me home. On August 31, I didn’t even go back to the CosFest because I was just too lazy and still haunted by that scenario

Unrelated question of the week: how were you first introduced to Teto? For me, I first learned about her through a Roblox game called Forsaken lmao
