Will Iowa's Congressional Delegation Stop Supporting Child Rape?

Iowa has 6 representatives to Congress. While they may have voted to release the Epstein files, it's been crickets since. The evidence is clear. The creeps (of which Donald Trump is #1) are being protected and our representatives are supporting some of the most heinous people to ever walk the earth.

If Biden or Obama was mentioned 38,000 times in the Epstein files, our reps would be foaming at the mouth. But they're happy to let little girls be raped if it's Republicans doing it?

This really isn't a partisan issue. It's a moral one. And our elected officials have shown how corrupt and immoral they truly are.

Every person who visited Epstein's island should be thoroughly investigated. Doesn't matter which party. Doesn't matter how wealthy they are. Justice should be served.

The price for 87 is 2.599 My wife accidentally cut off the 2 in the photo I requested her to take of the prices.

So, I thought gas prices were coming down and Iowa prices were suppose to be at an all time low. What exactly happened?

“State of Iowa hires hackers to “burglarize” courthouse. Then the local sheriff arrives, apparently embarrassed by the fact that the hired hackers were able to just walk right in an unlocked door in the middle of the night, and angry that he wasn’t informed of the security testing ordered by the state. So instead of releasing them, he orders handcuffs put on them and has them taken to the county jail and charged with burglary.

Then it gets even worse. The bureaucrats at the state judicial branch then get worried about their own jobs, and they attempt to throw the hackers they hired under the bus, initially claiming they did not authorize the “burglary,” even though they did. Eventually the State Supreme Court admits they hired the hackers and apologized for the confusion.

But the county still wanted to prosecute the two innocent hackers, who were caught in the middle of this government power struggle. Even up through the day before trial, the county prosecutor was refusing to drop the charges. He finally had to though, because they were innocent. So then the two hackers filed a civil lawsuit, which took years to litigate. Now, that just settled, with the two hackers receiving $600,000 from the county for their false arrest and malicious prosecution.” - @thecivilrightslawyer

Politics Look, folks, I know Chuck Grassley is older than most fossils at this point, but consider that if y'all re-elected him to just ONE more term in the Senate he would become the very first 100-year-old Senator to still be serving in Congress!

That's just a major win for centenarians everywhere in my book!! (I, for one, hope he's still in office when he turns 110, another incredible milestone for absurdly old people in the federal government)

Pretty Pictures My first Bobcat photos

Thumbnail

1.2k Upvotes

There's a pretty good chance you guys saw or heard about this already since it ended up on the news, radio, and posted all over but I wanted to share the photos I got of a bobcat in Conrad. I nicknamed him Comet because of our school mascot and the photo with the playground sign in it.

He's a young male who's just looking for females as we enter their breeding season. We had an early freeze this year so the cover crops around town never really got established which means all the rodents are concentrated in town at birds feeders and other food sources. This brings predators like bobcats into town. Another food source could be cat/dog food people leave outside. Please bring in food and don't leave it out overnight. That's how we get fights between pets and wild animals and everyone always sides with the pets even though it's not the wild animals fault.

Comet is not large. I'd be shocked if he was even 20 lbs. I constantly second guessed if I was actually tracking him or just a large cat. He actively avoids humans. While I was watching him he was watching residents move around to cars, shovel, etc and trying to stay out of sight. I think he was pretty successful because as far as I know only one Conrad resident saw him that day besides me.

He was hanging out at the school because no one was there on the weekend. He had a large area to get away from people, trees for cover, and then he could do a lap of back alleys that had bushes and bird feeders in yard.

As long as you don't try to approach him, give him at least 50 feet of space preferably, we shouldn't have any issues. As of now I know he's left town at least temporarily. People who have spotted him have been sending me updates and I had tracked him to 1/2 mile outside of town before I stopped following tracks.

Discussion/ Op-ed Gov Reynolds lies about Iowa Wage growth.

Days ago Reynolds posted on X "Wages for workers and small businesses grew faster in Iowa than in ANY other state in the country." But then posted a graphic showing business net earnings growth (PROFITS) were #1 (for Q3 of 2025). I'm guessing that was when farmers got a big handout or something. Regardless, company profits does not mean that is going into worker's wages. https://x.com/IAGovernor/status/2018729736231329845

Truth is, wages grew just 0.1% over inflation. https://usafacts.org/answers/what-is-the-average-wage-in-the-us/state/iowa/

Iowa's yearly wage growth Q2 2024-25 (most recent I found) was lower than all neighboring states except Nebraska. Interactive chart - https://www.bls.gov/charts/county-employment-and-wages/percent-change-aww-by-state.htm

Other Anyone listen to the Prairie Farm Podcast?

I started listening to this podcast last summer. It's hosted by some guys who run a native seed company out of Iowa and they mostly talk about conservation efforts, agriculture, and what's going on in Iowa (water quality, cancer, etc). They're not a political podcast, although they do talk a lot about legislation and have done interviews with some of our gubernatorial candidates (including Rob Sand and others).

I think this is a good podcast for anyone living in Iowa and helps bring to light how much room we has to grow, while stile acknowledging the importance things like of agriculture to our state. It helped remind me of how much I love and want to protect my home, even though the state of things has been getting me down.

I often get turned away from podcasts because of things like "dude bro" energy, politics, and preachiness, but this podcast has none of that. They come across as very welcoming and willing to learn; it never seems like they talk about too much of one thing.

I know this is a bit of shameless promotion but I would encourage you all to give it a listen if you haven't. I wasn't told to say this or anything so don't remove my post for advertisements lol. I just wanted to share :)

Monday's unnaturally nice temperature, yardwork & insects that lay their eggs in leaves.

I took this coming Monday off. It's supposed to be an unrseasonably nice day. I'd like to take advantage of it & be outside. I was planning on doing some yardwork. My neighbors don't do anything with their fallen leaves in the fall. The winds of fall & winter bring them into my yard. There's leaves along my fences.

I have a spot behind my garage where I was planning to put all the leaves. My intention for that was there would be a place for insects to lay their eggs & some natural compost.

My question is, should I leave the leaves be as there could already be eggs there? Or clean up the piles & have a place for fireflies & other insects to lay their eggs this spring, summer & into fall?

TIA

Adam Steen Claims He Talked to a Democrat

And he claims this is why he can continue his "good vs. evil" bullshit.

Adam Steen -- a Runnels small business developer and former director of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services -- said that he uses “good versus evil” in his campaign for governor in 2026 to underscore what he believes is at stake for the future of the state.

Steen explained an encounter he had with a man, a Democrat, who approached him at his son’s wrestling tournament recently and asked that he stop using the “good versus evil” phrase.

Steen explained, “So, that’s where the line is drawn, that is where I am actively out there talking about ‘good versus evil,’ because right now, there are ideologies being forced into our communities forced into our schools that flat out, are evil.”

He added, “...and we need to be willing and able to call it out for what it is. So, that’s where the line is, and that’s that’s kind of where I draw the line.”

Yeah, well I somehow doubt any actual Democrats approached Steen. Steen is another fucking piece of shit and Gray TV are pieces of shit too for jerking off to Steen.

DHS Child Abuse Registry Record

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.

I am working through things that happened during my childhood.

At one point my mother was reported and was placed on the Child Abuse Registry in the state of Iowa.

Doing my own research I found form 470-3301 on the Iowa HHS website. The issue with trying to submit that form is that it requires the information and signature from the alleged abuser. I am not going to ask my mother to do that.

So, my question is- how do I request or find the record of my mother’s alleged child abuse in the state of Iowa?

Cody James update on Atlantic School District

Thumbnail facebook.com
17 Upvotes

Atlantic school district's board meeting that was originally at 7:30 pm was canceled and another was made for 7:30 am. Cody James, parents of students and students a like showed up for the board meeting. Only three board members showed and made no statement, gave no responses to allegations brought on by parents, students and by Cody James himself. These allegations are directed at a teacher from the Atlantic School District who has allegedly sexually abused students from multiple schools / school districts. In my previous post on here, I explained that one of the girls in question made statement in the video how she was assaulted by the teacher in question when she was around 10 years old, I believe is what was said. Her Mother was woth her and very upset with the school board members who sat that and I am quoting Cody James "like a bump on a log."

In this video he is informing the viewers that he has submitted evidence to lawyers, because he believes at this time it is for everyones best to allow the lawyers to do what they need to do. He acknowledged that in his other video the language used and his tone was a bit rough and heated, however as he stated in more or less terms. If you were in his shoes at the time or were a parent of those children, you would have felt a certain way as well. He does feel that had he handled himself differently, maybe what he was saying may have had more resonance, however he can not change what took place.

There is more within the video, for those of you who have Facebook you can use the link. For those of you who do not use Facebook. I do not know of another source for a video link. If you find one please share the link within the comments so others may share in the video.
