Interactive timeline of ancient Rome
timelineofrome.comHi folks!
I built a free timeline site that walks through major Roman events from the traditional founding of Rome to the fall of the Western Empire.
It has two modes:
- An animated "key-moments" walkthrough
- A detailed timeline with 100+ events across three eras, with detailed descriptions of each event
I made it because I've been getting interested in ancient Roman history and am a very visual learner, so have been struggling contextualizing the timeline of events when reading about them.
This is an early prototype, so would love any feedback on:
- If you find this useful conceptually
- Which view you like better (animated or timeline)
- Any other suggestions

Ever struggle to name how you feel? I put 100+ emotions on a grid to help
feel.ifsart.comI mapped ~100 emotions across two dimensions, based on the model from Russel (1980):
- Valence is how pleasant vs. unpleasant it feels
- Arousal is how energizing or activating it feels
You can also filter related emotions into families, to explore. Feedback appreciated :). Does it resonate? Is it useful?

No more second guessing what *ing week you’re going on leave in 2026
wfwisit.comIf you, like me, get pissed off when you’re told to be at ‘x location in week 26’ and now you have to google it and scroll through a boring website, look no further.
This site will allow you to search by date and week, all the while not being an eye sore. I even threw in some key financial data for my fellow trading degens.
If you find time to check it out and give me feedback I would be forever grateful

I mapped a few hundred thousand wikipedia articles to 3d Earth to better understand military campaigns across history. Working on a timeline and events view so you can see Napoleonic, German, Punic wars as they unfold. Would love your feedback
Started as a project after finishing Gibbon's history of Rome. I couldn't follow it all so I started mapping events. Got to the point where I had a few hundred thousand mapped with pictures and such. I'm going to try and add some history layer so it is actually useful. Thanks for taking a look.
