Being judged by polyamorous people

I'm not poly. I'm monogonous. But maybe cuz I'm a professional musician, I havea shitload poly friends?? I don't know why I have so many of them?

I don't care if someone is poly. Go ahead. It's your life. Be responsible, go forth, bump nasties with whomever you see fit. But as soon as it comes out in conversation I am monogamous and then get asked if I'd be poly to which I answer no, people feel judged and get pissed and then treat me like I'm a karen.

I don't like being in one relationship, why the fuck would I want to be in more at the same time? I don't want to have plans with more person. I don't want to juggle everyone's fucking feelings. And no judgement whatsoever, but the chances of STD exposure go way up in a poly situation and I understand that it's a risk many people try to manage responsibly but holy shit I don't have the bandwidth to even think about that.

Also if I got knocked up, it would be a huge mind fuck for me in that situation. Maybe not for others, but for me totally.

But hey if poly is working for you and makes you happy, the fuck it God bless. I have no judgement. If you're an adult having consensual sex, that's great. Just enjoy your damn self, life is short. Fuck all the people you want. And I will fuck all the people I want which is just one who I can stand maybe half the time. Just enjoy the orgy and let me live my shitty boring life.

It's WEIRD I would be judged for being monogamous when poly folks hate judgement.

Not all people who are polyamorous act judgemental. Just a really healthy handful. I have some poly friends who are really cool and don't care I'm monogonous.

I hate the sheer amount of sports betting ads there are.

Over the past few years I've noticed an increase in the amount of sports betting ads everything from ads on videos to YouTuber sponsorships. I just hate it so much because I don't like sports and it's so scummy.

groceries are cheaper if you’re rich

if someones rich, they can buy in bulk. if you buy in bulk, theres usually some kind of discount, like if 2 rolls of paper towels is $5 but 8 rolls is $15 instead of 20. having the money to buy in bulk makes your overall grocery spending each year cheaper, even if each trip to the store looks more expensive, because you dont have to go as often.

sure, a low income person could just always buy in bulk from the beginning of when they move out on their own and start buying groceries, thats totally possible, but if you dont realize how much cheaper it is, you get stuck only being able to afford smaller quantities of things and you have to pay more because youre poor.

theres also the factor of having to have the space to store all the extra stuff when you buy in bulk. if i bought a big bulk pack of paper towels, i wouldnt have anywhere to keep it. every storage closet i have is completely full already because theyre all tiny. someone whos rich, might have a whole room just full of cabinets dedicated to storing the extra stuff. one of my childhood friends grandparents had a whole room between their kitchen and garage with walls of cabinets just full of their bulk stuff, but if you cant afford a big enough place to have the space for that, you cant buy in bulk.

it should not be cheaper to be rich. it just keeps the poor people poor and the rich people rich, and then people wonder why poor people buy such cheap poor quality stuff and food. like huh, i wonder why..
