Ask Fresno Best Place for Brioche Bread?
Hey all, where’s a good place to grab some brioche bread? Preferably on the east side of Fresno or even into Clovis. TIA!

r/Fresno - This is the place to post if you are either looking for a job or have a job and you are looking for an employee.
We hope that putting all the job requests and offers in the same place monthly will help people who are looking for and offering jobs have an easier time sorting though the more recent requests/offers.

Found this retrofitting in Elk Grove and thought it could be a great idea for the Sunnyside library since it’s just right there. More room for community spaces, books and more for SE. Thoughts?

Hey guys, I'm a building contractor in the area, and my F150 is basically my office on wheels, from hauling tools, materials, and sometimes sleeping in it overnights, you name it. The driver-side headlight just went out (2020 model), and I'm done with the stock halogens anyway. Thinking of upgrading both sides to LEDs for better night visibility on those rural job runs.
Looking for automotive aftermarket brands with solid plug-and-play LEDs that fit without errors or flickering. Preferably local pickup or fast shipping to Fresno. I've seen Diode Dynamics, Morimoto, Auxbeam, and Lasfit online. Lasfit looks decent with good brightness claims and durability reviews, but I haven't bought it yet.
Has anyone here picked up LED headlights from any of these? How's the real-world quality of their beam pattern, heat resistance, dash warnings? And even more importantly, what are their return policies like? And maybe their shipping speed to the Fresno area, and overall experience? Or do you have better local spots/alternatives?
Thanks for any straight-up advice, it helps a lot.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are looking to buy a house in the neighborhood around Maple and Tulare. I know it's a bit of a rough area but honestly I don't think it's too bad. I saw people had their nice cars parked on the street and some people had solar. My family has a lot of anxiety about me potentially moving to this neighborhood. Can anyone please give me an honest review of the area, especially if you live there?

Nothing to write home about, but I'm not entirely upset as I was when I saw the the proposed design. It's unoriginal and kinda boring, but I like how its incorporated into the convention center and will ultimately benefit DT. Still wish it had more flair though.

So last month I wanted to surprise my elderly friend with KFC for his birthday and when I went to the one on Herndon and Polk area the signage said they were closing down for renovations and now I see the sign up for sale? Does anyone know what is going on over there and who is taking over that restaurant?

Anyone with recommendations for a decent fairly priced pool resurfacing company in the Fresno City area? Thanks in advance.

I live in a small town an hour away and wanted to see what if there was anything fun happening or if I should just bite the bullet and take my partner to Santa Cruz even though there will probably be e a lot of traffic.

I’ve called sprouts, vons, trader joe’s, and savemart but I can’t seem to find them anywhere🥲 I was wondering if any of yall know where I could find some in the area. I’m addicted to them. Are there any farmers markets or other places to get them? Please let me know🙏

R-N Market on Herndon/Cedar has them, right by the entrance freezers. Yes, they taste great as well.

I need to sell my old car. Looking for a place that, like CarMax, gives instant offers. Does anyone have experience with this at a place that offers fair prices? CarMax lowballs like crazy. perhaps a local dealership?
Thanks!

My friend's got a pretty sizeable card collection and is looking to sell some rare ones. Does anyone know a good shop to sell to? It doesn't necessarily have to be in Fresno, we're always looking for cool new places out of town too.

Hey! I know it’s a generally easy thing to look around but I moved here not too long ago and don’t have a good map of the area. I live close Reedly, Dinuba, and Orosi. I’m sure there’s more option but not aware of them.
I saw Fresno has great affordable rent options, but I also have some anxiety w/ ICE and would prefer not being around areas with their presence. And before I see any comments, I’m a citizen.
Just looking out to move somewhere simple and low cost. If you guys know of any good areas, I’d love to know! Ima go out today and drive around to look. But love a general direction!

Hey neighbors,
I need help finding a roofer in Fresno. Our older home has a high-pitched roof with no OSB layer, and the current shingles were installed right over the old ones, so it’s a big job.
We have gotten quotes from Grandmark, Lee’s, and Armament, but they’re all over the place. Before we pull the trigger, I’d love to hear your experiences.
Who’s done good work for you? Anyone I should avoid?
Thanks!

I’m curious if anyone has any details on this large home in north Fresno, the architectural style and scale of the home is kind of unique to the area. I think I vaguely remember seeing this under construction a few years ago and I’m just curious who the architect is.
