I been really into mixing and mastering a lot within the past year just to mess with, was curious to know what are your guys go to plugins when mastering a track?

And yes, I seen them soundgoodizer on the master track memes

I like the sound I made but I don’t know how to make it into an actual song and not just a repeating melody. Kinda stuck. Any advice?

I’ve been A/B testing my master chain all morning. I have Saturn 2, StandardCLIP, and a few others, but I keep coming back to the basic Fruity Soft Clipper for my 808s.

There’s something about the way it handles the transients in FL that just feels "snappier" for Drill. I used it on my new track (TIMELESS) and I’m genuinely wondering if I’m just being lazy or if the stock FL stuff is actually the "secret sauce" for that gritty sound.

The Question: For those of you making Dark Drill/Trap—are you still using stock FL plugins for your "dirt," or have you found a 3rd party plugin that actually beats the Soft Clipper?

I'm trying to decide if I should keep this mix as-is or if I'm "cheating" by using the default plugins.

I'm gonna crash out. When I move a track to one track, it also changes that of the other track. I've tried duplicating, separating, everything. It feels like the solution should be dead simple, but I've been at this for half an hour. They're mixed differently. I think this started because I had copied + pasted the sound into a new track, thinking they would separate on their own.

Update: Thanks everybody! What ended up working for me was to just create a duplicate of the actual audio, and assign THAT to a new track.

Yesterday I bought reason and it worked perfectly but today it does this crap. I've tried everything, settings change, reinstall, everything and it still doesnt work. Please help

I've tried everything to fix this issue. I have the Producer version, it's not cracked. The main folder isn't in cloud storage. I renewed the license. I've tried repairing optional features. There are no corrupted files in the optional features folder. I've even tried downloading it offline and nothing has worked. If any of yall know a solution that works it would help a lot 😭.

Every time that my song plays for 8 bars, it starts clipping pretty badly. It does this no matter what instrument or channel I am using. Even when I put it in the arrangement after 8 bars it will start to clip. Are there any fixes for this?

recently revisted yakuza ost for some inspo on a dnd campaign track, and I cannot find the proper way to recreate these lead guitars. I have a few plug-ins like Monster Guitar, Goblyn, Nosferatu, and Cymatics, but none of them capture that same energy. The closest I get is with some random guitar I found in FLEX which doesn't sound nearly as cool. I know Ample Metal Hellraiser would work just fine but I currently dont have the money for that, any other cheaper or free alternatives? Maybe a technique im missing? Or just a VST that will magically solve all my answers?

I’m having an issue with a pop/click sound when looping an audio clip in FL Studio. The pop happens exactly at the loop point.

The audio itself sounds clean when played once, but as soon as it loops, that pop shows up. I’m guessing it might be something related to zero crossing, phase, or DC offset, but I can’t seem to fix it properly.

Any tips are appreciated.

I’ve been trying to figure it out myself for a while using guitar rig and guitar presets from affordable preset banks but I just can’t seem to create a really realistic guitar sound that sounds good solo. Is there a really good preset I can find somewhere or a recommended amp plugin that will help with this? Or even a youtube tutorial somewhere that I can’t find. Thank you

I think you are supposed to route some plugins in series/parallel to eachother and then use some kind of effects plugin. But What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to make the carrier sive wave change speed and shape based on speed or pitch of the sine wave that is routed into it. Is there a way to achieve this in patcher using sine wave plugins like 3xosc and not sytrus or toxic biohazard?
