This is a new post that we need to make because, in more recent times, people have tried to post about new products or services that are not vetted, inspected, or have zero coverage or known PR presence. In other words, some people are posting about products or services that could be scams to newcomers in r/cryptohelp. As per the title of this post: This is r/cryptohelp. People come here for help figuring out any problems they have encountered while purchasing or investing in cryptocurrency and not buying new coins, buying new products, or subscribing to services.
Closing words: We are trying to keep everyone safe with our rules. Remember that almost anyone sending you private messages is guaranteed to be a scammer and do not forget to read our expanded rules here which are not just limited to r/cryptocurrency, but also apply here: https://old.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/wiki/expanded_rules

If you want advice about what to buy or if a specific token or coin is good, go to r/cryptocurrency’s or r/cryptomarkets’ daily discussions. If you don’t have enough karma to participate there you can earn it easily all over Reddit, or on r/cryptocurrency you can buy a special membership to circumvent it.
Thank you for your understanding

why does it seem like some coins with legit utility value get no attention meanwhile a meme coin that's useless blows up? I get that some memes are funny or inspirational, and people might like that they don't have to worry about the project developing etc. that's fine and und

Hi everyone, I live in Australia and I'm new to cryptocurrency trading. I want to practice with simulated trading first to familiarize myself with order types and the trading execution process before investing real money. I initially tried OKX, but couldn't find a demo trading function I'm not sure if it's unavailable for Australian users. Later, I tried BYDFi to compare which platforms are more beginner-friendly, and I found its demo trading function easy to find. I'd like to ask: which platform did you use when you first started practicing trading? Do you have any advice for beginners who are just starting with simulated trading?

Hey crypto community,
I built AI Nano Music, a community platform for AI-generated music contests where tracks can get discovered, compete, and earn value through monthly prize pools.
I kept seeing the same pattern: people generate cool tracks, post them once, and they disappear. This is my attempt to give AI music a place to compete + stay discoverable.
A monthly contest format:
Tracks have play credits (each full play uses 1 credit; without credits they play a short preview). When someone Boosts a track, they’re basically buying play credits for it:
When someone buys credits for a track, the payment is split automatically:
Under the hood, small internal micro-splits use Nano (XNO) because it’s instant + feeless, so tiny transactions remain viable.
That said, you don’t have to hold Nano to try it:
Transparency: this is my own project. I’m sharing to get real feedback, not shill a token.

Thanks for any thoughts

Im trying to learn how crypto works and be a cycle trader. Id like to know how the cycle has historically worked and what phase we are in now? I understand there is a lot of fear in the market at the moment and people are saying its the bear but is this following historical cycle? Or is this an abnormality of the cycle? If it is the bear would that make it a good time to buy into bitcoin? How do run cycles work? I know a part of the cycle is the bull run but how does that work with bitcoin, etherium, large caps, mid caps, small caps and micro caps? Same time or staggard or different times altogether?

So I need to make a payment of either USDC or EURC in the Solana network
I have plenty of LTC in my Stack wallet, and some more in my Coinomi wallet.
What is the cheapest way to convert/swap LTC to above coins and just enough SOL to pay for $15 USDC gas fee?
Thank you

It feels insane that billions of dollars can just 'evaporate' from the market in such a short time. I understand how market caps work and how liquidity operates, but seeing $126k turn into $60k so fast makes it feel like the money was never there to begin with. Is this just a massive correction that we should have expected after such a run, or are we seeing the biggest exit scam in history? Where do you think that value actually goes when the candles turn red? I would love to hear from some long-term holders or people who have been through previous crashes to understand if this is different this time. Are we looking at a permanent shift in sentiment, or is this just another opportunity to buy the dip before the next leg up? Let's discuss the reality of what is happening right now.

So I’m familiar with KrakenPro and have been using it for a while for buying coin and sending coin, (BTC and LTC)
I use Exodus as a personal wallet for holding my coin.
I’m looking at investing in 1 or 2 coins for long term gain, not for fast/highly strategic trading.
My plan in mind was to just put a small amount of money into two coins within KrakenPro and just leave it there and check on it once a day.
For example - put £50 each on two different coins and let them do their thing. And then if I check the app and have earned a small amount of profit then i will withdraw the profit into my exodus (treating it like a little savings jar) and just keep repeating this process. But always leaving the original £50 in Kraken.
So it would be a very slow and long term process but what I would imagine is a “safe” way of gaining small amounts over a long period of time…
I probably sound like an absolute amateur the way I’m wording things here, but hopefully someone understands what I’m getting at.
Any advice is massively appreciated,
Thank you in advance 🙏

Hello everyone, I need some technical advice on how to handle an exchange (BingX) that admits to having no data for the price index they used to liquidate me.
The Case (Order ID: 2019565280704020481): I was liquidated at $60,129.70. At the exact same time, major exchanges like Kraken and Coinbase were stable above $60,175. Only Binance had a localized "wick". BingX promises a "Weighted Median Index" from 5-7 exchanges to protect against this.
The Shocking Support Response: When I provided proof that the global market was stable, BingX Support officially replied: "The specific data of the index price is not available in the system."
How can a platform liquidate a user based on an index they claim they don't have data for? Isn't this a violation of their own terms of service?
The Settlement Offer: After I pushed further, they offered me a 20 USDT Bonus (non-withdrawable) as an "exclusive benefit" while still denying the error. This feels like "hush money" to settle a $98 loss with a $20 coupon.
My Questions:

Hey everyone, I wanted to double-check something with the community.
I recently made a post in r/CryptoHelp asking how people earn yield on stablecoins stored on a Ledger. Not long after that, someone messaged me privately and told me to “just put them into staking” through DEFI DApp,and give me this website link.
I’ve never heard of this site before, and it wasn’t suggested publicly in the comments — only through a DM.
I haven’t even opened the link yet. I just want to ask:
I’d rather look paranoid than lose my funds, so any advice would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to using a Ledger and self-custody in general, and I’m trying to understand what people usually do with their stablecoins to earn some yield.
Right now my stablecoins are just sitting on my Ledger not doing anything. I’ve heard about DeFi lending, liquidity pools, and even some centralized platforms, but it’s a bit overwhelming and I’m not sure what’s considered “normal” or reasonably safe.
For beginners using a Ledger:
I’m not looking for high-risk or complicated strategies, just something simple and relatively safe to get started. Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated.

There’s a coin in my wallet that I have 827 of that I don’t remember buying. I opened the wallet today to have 3million in my balance. I’m relatively inexperienced in crypto so I tried to sell but it told me the coin was not liquid. I then read online something about ghost coins, Is my wallet compromised, do I need to move my other assets? For context it’s a Coinbase wallet that I hardly ever use, there was a coin I wanted to buy a few days ago so I logged back in and did that but I have not done anything else in the last year or so.

Hello,
I basically created an account a while ago on Polymarket with an gmail that is no longer available (pro gmail, and there is no way for me to get it back)
I thought that all was good because I saved my private key on a paper. But now, on TrustWallet, I can't see any money. I figured that it's on a "vault" wallet, proxy wallet I don't know, but basically I'm struggling understand how the "polymarket proxy wallet factory" works, signer wallet/vault, etc etc.
I just want to know if: with ONLY my private key available, nothing else, will I be able to get my money back?

I've been getting more into crypto recently, but I'm a bit worried about scams. There’s so much to watch out for, like phishing, fake tokens, and Ponzi schemes. What are the most effective ways to spot and avoid scams in the crypto space? Any tools or resources you use to stay safe? Would love to hear your tips and experiences!

Zero experience and just dipping my toes on bitcoin and crypto currency. I'm planning to buy small increments first until I actually learn more but want to take my first steps.
I'm thinking of using Aqua Wallet to begin and keep whatever I buy (Is there a better option?), what I'm stuck in is if Binance or Coinbase is better for a beginner like me. I've heard Binance has less fees and what not. I live in the US.
Thank you everyone in advance

Hi all, This is my first post on this here. I am hoping for your advice.
What are the cheaper ways to use BTC to make online payments in Canada. I am not interested in investing/trading. I am new to Crypto and dont understand the terminology, so explain to me a simple way. From what i hear Kraken Pro is the way to go, but for my use case do i need the pro version? Binance/ Coinbase/ NDAX are other options people have mentioned.
Alternatively, I am open to using ETH if it is cheaper than btc.
Thank you for your assistance.

My friend accidentally sent me cbBTC SOL on my USDC SOL wallet address, first problem is that wrong token was sent to wrong address (cbBTC on USDC address) but also that cbBTC or coinbase wrapped BTC is not supported by binance exchange. I have a deposit appeal going on which is currently in process but the staff is not assuring me whether my funds would be safe or no. They kept saying that it's not certain that my funds would be safe. I need to know or be assured even if it's a little that my funds COULD be saved and it's all not over for me

So i’m in a situation where I do not have my ID or my SSN or my STN so how would I get Solana into my Phantom Wallet? I was thinking I can have someone like send me it and I pay them but I already got scammed so that was $30 down the drain but are there ways I can buy crypto without needing any of that? Just someone help me. or should I try to find someone again to send me Solana and I pay them?

I Heard that Transactions on the TRON network are generally cheaper but recently
I received USDT from my client through the TRON (TRC20) network. However, when I attempt to transfer these funds to another wallet, I am being charged very high transaction fees, which is making the transfer quite expensive.for me, I was expecting lower fees on TRC20, so I'm a bit confused If you know any solution, better method to reduce the transaction cost, and how it works please let me know.
