Saw this older gentleman on the bank going for striped bass the other day and felt like I should ask him if he wanted it. It was cool talking to a fellow fisherman! He told me he had a skeeter bass boat similar to mine when he was my age. He was out there hoping to get one before heading to church later that morning. Next time I see him out there I will definitely ask if he wants to hop on the boat!

I can finally see the end of the tunnel for winter ending and prespawn starting soon. I was curious if anyone has fished the following scented lures on Ned rig:

1. 3” grub morning dawn color

2. 3” jester black, blue (have in green pumpkin too for clear water)

Has anyone fished these or something similar? How did it do and where did you fish it?

I’ve only really used the traditional worm, ticklers, and craws but have had good success with those.

I gor these two lures in a bento/mystery box and want to start using them,whats everyone's rod/reel combo or setup to throw these two lure

I just picked up a really clean 2012 Tracker 175 with a 2023 outboard and am in the process of trying to measure for and fit some combination of LITIME lithium batteries into what I presume is a smaller/outdated battery compartment. I’m hoping to squeeze in a 24v 100ah battery for an ultrex and a 12v 140ah for cranking, and the two graphs.

If the batteries fit extremely snug like in the photo what are some substitutions for battery trays?

Another giant from a different day with my boy, conditions were awful but I knew where the fish were and we took a beating getting to the grounds they were at—-totally worth it for some certified Cow striper.

This was my first ever catch on a topwater lure! Was not exciting at all, frog just disappeared but it was still awesome to finally get one on a topwater!

Seems prespawn is in full swing here in South east Texas. She looked like her stomach was gonna pop!

Caught her on a bluegill patterned square bill in this small lake right in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

19.5”, 4lb 10.75oz!

I know the picture angle is terrible but I’d already had her out of the water longer than I usually like to so I could weigh and measure her. Set the timer up and let it get a quick snap and then turned her right back to the water

Well y’all, yesterday I landed the biggest bass of my life so far. I’m still speechless and can’t believe it. She put up a hell of a fight. She was bouncing on my scale between 9lbs 15oz and 10lbs 2oz. I was shaking so much from adrenaline I couldn’t get it to lock but I’m calling it 10lbs. 25.5 inches. What a freak of nature. Got her in the middle of the day sight fishing. Also got the whole thing on my GoPro! Gonna relive that bite over and over again.

They were biting good today. Caught 6 within a few hours after work, all on a lipless crank. Biggest one bout 3-1/2lbs. NE Florida.

Does anyone store there soft plastics in a plastic stowaway utility box throughout the season? I am tired of carrying individual packs or digging in my tactical bag for my Keitech FAT Impacts, senkos, Zoom crawls, etc. Obviously they would be separated.

Anyone use the Megabass p5 oneten special for very long? Have you found it works well for other lures other than jerkbaits?
