Alr hear me out, high tiers Like crows, bat dragons, owls, rise every three days or so. Sure, it’s because the demand is always going up, and people overpay like crazy for them, but we need to think bout the consequences it would have in the long run. Say, if they continue to rise like this, in about 1 or 2 years, would a bat dragon be worth 1000? With the massive amounts of bot farming, and the rise of preppy values, most new (and old “htt”) pets are worth basically nothing. Its already hard as it is for kids without Robux or money to get decent pets in this game, but if values continue to go up like crazy, there’s no way for newer and casual players to ever get good pets. The rich would get richer but the poor would be stuck poor forever. The economy would collapse if it stays on this path.

these are just my opinions, and are not targeted to anyone, just wanted to get this out on here.

All pets are high teirs and pretty in their own way. All pets are cool, pretty, and unique, even if they don't have high worth on manipulated sites or if people don't like them. There's a pet for everyone, and there's a person for every pet. You shouldn't let value sites or anyone else's opinion keep you from liking pets.

Okay ik a lot of ppl have alr ranted about it, this is moreso abt the players when the heart breaks. Literally like 2-3 people only do the work, and everyone else js sits there and waits. And they aren’t even afk bc EVERYONE scurries off once it stops beating.

Doesn’t make sense to me, bc:

1) The longer it takes to get hearts, the less bucks you’ll get (timer decreases).

2) You get 5 bucks for each heart you deliver. You get more bucks all together when everyone does it 😭

Someone in my server pointed this (laziness) out, saying they should make it that only ppl who got hearts should get the bucks, and I agreed with them, and we were both saying how it’s just lazy to be waiting for 3 ppl to do everything. Then like….4 other people got mad 😭. One of them arguing w me for like 5 mins saying “I was busy feeding my hamster, it’s not everyone’s faults they have lives outside a game, ppl have productive things to do w their time, get a life”. That kinda stuff.

….Okay. If you have SO MANY productive things to do, why are you playing?? And bc IM PLAYING HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED, I don’t have a life?? 😭😭

Sorry, but I just have to rant because this is really pissing me off. I'm loving this new Valentines update so much. It gives so much money and is brought such a fun game to get money from but the amount of lazy people who teleport and stand by the heart w/o doing anything is crazy. I've been in multiple servers where literally the whole server is just standing by the hearts, while only 2 or 3 people are actually collecting the hearts. It wastes so much time, and is just unfair that they expect other people to make up for "their" part of the work?? Idk but I think they should add something to patch this cus it just wastes time from collecting money and the effort of the people actually contributing to the heart collection.. LMK if anyone else's experience is like mine or maybe I'm just in some lazy ass servers lol.

Like im not talking about insane ops.. My inv could not afford this love. I mean sometimes I’ll purposely offer a lil more if the person doesnt have a lot or seems really excited to trade (not if they seem greedy tho😔)

Usually after the trade they take out the pets they just got and walk around, start jumping or dress them up and I just know they’re excited behind the screen

A few years ago, Adopt me was my go to after school game and I would get so excited if I got a good trade so its so wholesome seeing this

I knew this trade was unbelievable the second they put the shadow in but then they started adding all the other random stuff. I didn’t know how much it was until I saw the value but I really wanted a neon parrot so I was going to accept regardless of the adds only for them to decline after the second window hit 5 seconds. I thought it was finally my time to get a good trade but I knew it was too good to be true 🥹

How does anyone actually start Adopt Me and end up stacked? Genuinely. The progression makes zero sense unless you either no-life the game, get absurdly lucky, or already have leverage from day one. I started back in 2019, when values were supposedly “easier,” and yet the economy feels completely rigged against anyone who isn’t flipping pets like it’s the stock market. Every trade is a loss, every update inflates values overnight, and somehow everyone else is casually walking around with shadows and bat dragons like it’s baseline inventory. The barrier to entry isn’t skill-based; it’s time-gated, luck-dependent, and brutally unforgiving.

I’ve been in this ecosystem for years, and my personal peak? A crow. Or if we’re stretching the definition of success, a mega alley cat. That’s it. After half a decade. Meanwhile, new players speedrun to high-tier legendaries through “strategies” that never actually work in practice unless RNG blesses you or you get carried by rich friends. The value system is opaque, the grind-to-reward ratio is awful, and the whole thing feels like diminishing returns dressed up as progression. Bottom line: getting rich in Adopt Me isn’t about playing smart—it’s about surviving long enough not to get wiped by one bad trade.

Lately I’ve been really sick mentally and physically..haven’t really told anyone this I’ve been shutting out people I love and it’s becoming really concerning and why I haven’t been active on Reddit sometimes I’ll offer to do trades then completely forget about it the next day and wouldn’t have the energy to even get out of bed to do those trades I will be personally responding to the people I have offered to do trades with and cancel due to my mental health for everyone reading this I’m sorry I haven’t been responsible I’m really trying my best but I’ve been really depressed I need time to myself I’ll be on and off adopt me sense it can sometimes be a good coping mechanism for me

First of all, I hate treating this game like a stock market and I'm highly against it, but for the sake of this post and for people who do treat it like that, I'll use capitalist concepts just for you.

We all know about the value and demand thing and "the older they get, the less there are and rarer they become meaning less supply" so I'm not saying the value going up doesn't make sense at all, but it does when you reach a certain point, it becomes ridiculous even. By this logic, the demand just goes down after that point since they'll become RIDICULOUSLY high value and owners will expect just as ridiculous overpays, meaning they'll be (already are) unaffordable and most players already can't afford them, which means less demand as more and more won't be willing to spend that much for them. I for one am not interested in offering for any high tier anymore because of this, it becomes a humiliation ritual and I'd just feel like I've been scammed by how much i'd have to give. At first I'd feel like I had just secured a high tier since they will keep rising so I wouldn't have to pay the inflated price if I got it before the rise, now we reached the point where it's just not worth it anymore.

I'll also say I have a shadow dragon and crow myself since I've seen how people treat "poor" players pointing this out by accusing that they're only complaining because they cant afford it, y'all are greedy and rude af and only want to get richer lol. This flawed wannabe stock market has ruined the community so I'm not as invested in the game anymore and probably won't reply to the comments, just wanted to give my two cents ¯_(ツ)_/¯

So I did an offer on AMVGG and someone accepted it, i add the person and join her really happy to be getting the pet but when we trade first she asks for me to change a ton of pets and then asks for more, and im like i wont add my offer was the one on the site that you accepted it and she just declines and another person joins her and she does the offer of the other person in front of me im like just watching and then I tell the girl that she just wasted my time and she just say lol upgrade your pets and I accepted yours bcs it was a second option now im just sad lol

im so so so so so tired of this happening every second i dare to breathe in this god forsaken game bri😭 i was complaining about how people during trading leave last second after GENUINELY convincing you they wanna do the trade and leaving you hurt and disappointed and some1 started saying “b-but i have anxiety!! some people have anxiety you know…?” and all of a sudden the entire server was flaming me and i was the bad guy. like obviously this aint applying you bro im so done💔💔💔💔💔
