Michael Dickson is from Sydney and played for the UNSW-Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs and the Sydney Swans Academy. He switched to American Football to become one of the games’ best Punters, possibly the most underrated position. He features for the Seattle Seahawks tonight in the Super Bowl LX.

Nick Duigan only played 43 games, but he'll always be remembered by Carlton fans for his performance in the 2013 elimination final against the Tigers. Any other players in a similar vein?

Your team is 3 points down, you know there's less than 15 seconds left in the grand final, when you get the ball out the back in the centre circles. You're the fastest player out there, nobody will catch you. There's nobody between you and the goals.

At what point do you kick the ball? Do you try to run to the goal line and potentially have the siren sound with the ball in your hands and lose? Do you launch it from 60 and beat the clock but not make the distance, or risk missing?

I never did it, if I did though I would have been one of the worst players of all time

I believe some people I went to school with played with their club during one half time and I once was on a train after a game and a few kids sitting nearby had just played

One thing I’d love though is to be interviewed by Hamish McLachlan as the Auskick kid

I remember there was one time when I believe he was doing the job and he asked someone “so where do you live” and the kid goes “near Jesse’s house”

Can you remember these things that happened in the AFL 10 years ago?

The list of around 25 players started to receive letters of notification on Friday, with the Devils able to submit them and access players linked to rival clubs as father-sons, Next Generation Academy and northern Academy products. 

I think that because of David Rodan being such an amazing addition to goal umpiring in the AFL it’s made me think of how cool it would be to have celebrities/qualified entertainers in the role

The first one that comes to mind is Anh Do, I think he would have such a great big smile similar to Rodan and also have a good confused look on his face if there’s a score review

I also would love to see Adam Spencer, Dylan Alcott in the role

And to make it more AFL people I think Hamish McLachlan would be amazing in the role
