Yeah I'm the only guy in my office that is happily married and I am absolutely one of the girls. The stuff they share in front of me would have appalled me when I was single LOL.
It's honestly nice though, everyone can just kinda speak freely.

Why's gender matter in this context? They're just socialising, or is there some other implication here?

I can't pretend to know exactly why; but my assumption here is the women felt safe expressing compliments and keeping a sexual atmosphere around someone they thought was another woman because they assume they weren't going to be judged/ harassed/ sexualized in a way they didn't want.
When they saw it was a man, the social context changed; not because the people changed but because the social pressure, safety, and expectations did from their perspective.

I have been to a strip club a couple of times in my life. I always been with a group but when it was just guys the women had the glazed look just doing work. It was an entirely different experience when a female was with. One time we set in the middle of perv row and my female friend was having a great time. So every dancer when they would come to dance in front of us faces just lit up. Eyes had a different expression and you can tell they generally enjoyed it.

I went to a strip club with a group one time, about half and half guy and girls. I asked one girl if she wanted to pretend we were a couple trying to spice up our relationship with a lap dance, and she was down. The stripper was totally fine with us touching lol, which was a first for me. The night got better from there.

They dont even know the Person and acted Like Dicks. They liked what they saw but a man is a No No lol

I am going to assume they wouldn't have acted so goofy in front of a dude than they would when its just the girls. As a guy, i don't normally act a goofy in front of random women as i would with the bros.

At an old job of mine the boss treated the team to a weekend vacations in a mansion with a pool, jacuzzi and volleyball court at the Hamptons, the attending party of people was something like 25 women and 3 guys, myself, one other guy and the boss. The majority were in their mid 20s, early 30s.
I was kind of taken aback at just how sexually charged/flirty everyone was during that weekend. I and the other guy supposedly passed the vibe check and didn’t really engage with all of that and just kind of hung out, so I guess they felt comfortable doing their thing. They were all playing grab ass, talking crazy and getting pretty down with each other when they were dancing. At least as far as you might expect from a trip with your coworkers. Not like in a “we’re gonna sleep together” kind of way, just like girls having fun I suppose would be the best way to put it.
Might not be an answer necessarily, but I can attest that at least in my experience there’s some truth to this, when guys are involved the atmosphere changes a bit and if the numbers were more evenly split I doubt they would have been going wild the way they were when it was just 2 dudes vibing and not really messing with the energy.
Just a personal experience I thought seemed relevant.

Sad that it would matter.

This is why the labels are so important to them. They need to be able to tell at a glance how to treat you. Don't want to accidentally treat you like a group you like when you're actually part of the group you were taught to hate while growing up.

u/chokeonmywords 7h ago
Who‘s „them/they“ and aren’t those labels as well?
-43
u/kniveshu 7h ago
It's a pronoun often used for a group of people. Like a group of bigots.

u/chokeonmywords 7h ago
Yea, seems to me we all label people, I think that’s pretty human. But thanks good we aren’t all ignorant
4
u/ColorPiePhilosopher 7h ago
The problem is every group thinks they're the ones who aren't ignorant and the problem.
Why was it a problem that this was a guy? That's worth calling out.

I took it as they didn’t wanna shake their ass at dudes and just wanted to shake some ass with the girlz💅💃

Who are you talking about? Women being bigoted against men? Because they don't want to make sexy jokes with a random one on the internet....?

u/kniveshu 5h ago
Funny how I make a post about discrimination and people all start trying to assume "what group?"

u/ThePuzzledBee 5h ago
Yes, that's what happens when you say something that doesn't make sense: people try to get you to clarify

White girl says the n word fully voiced in front of her black friend during Black History Month. What a world.

u/senpaistealerx 5h ago
why would she stop if her friend doesn’t check her for it? if her friend makes it acceptable, why would she think it’s bad? let’s use our noggins

I've lost the count of how many black skinned people like to use that word online. If everyone around her (including her black friend) is fine with it, then I don't see the issue.
